I’d imagine you will struggle to get a live quote for any meaningful volume. Pick a level or several that you’d be happy with the profit and stick some limit sells in they are more likely to get filled on any spike up.

I’ve seen shares swing intraday 100% in both directions as people jump in and out.

Probably avoid using stop losses.

Exactly the company I work needed to dispose of a chunk of employee share options, they specifically new that if everyone individually sold it would decimate the share price so the broker lined up a buyer and we shifted the lot at a small discount to market value.

I’d much rather the lot got shifted in one go even if it was at 35p at least then the market would have confidence that acacia where out and we’d get some traction moving forwards.

Point 1 - agreed this was always the concern with the hospital trial that we would be diagnosing too late in the infection cycle to have maximum benefit.

The trial design attempted to minimise this risk and I anticipate that trial candidates where cherry picked by the specialists at the NIHR centres, one of the benefits SNG discussed was about having full control of the trial and consultants on the payroll.

Slow filling of the hospital trial whilst annoying was also I think an attempt to vet heavily the candidates.

Point 2 - I think the fact that At Home has been successfully rolled out nationally already proves the drug can be easily self administered. If hospital trial positive I think at Home will be perceived to already be positive and probably a bigger success, I’d imagine that will be priced in.

If hospital is disappointing but points to earlier administration Then all eyes on At Home.

Chrishar - Who knows the stock market works in mysterious ways.

This is holding well today versus it’s peers/sector. Lots of good gains on the wider market but are they sustainable?

Strange times, Covid is still looming and very much around yet there is a mandate to get the economy functioning at all cost.

I concede this has not done what I expected in the later half of the week but then I’m rarely right on short term movements.

Wouldn’t it be nice if the story unfolded something like:

Hospital trial results released, efficacy beating anything that has been released thus far.

Big Pharma swoops in and licenses SNG001 for Covid and COPD, stumps up funding for phase 3 COPD.

Also said big pharma offers to supply FOC globally the current stock of SNG001 handily already produced by Synairgen in return for EUA. This would push us into every health service going and make the headlines globally.

CW - Unlikely today the momentum from earlier fizzled, would hope the out is presented before the week has passed.

It’s not an exciting trade but perhaps one of the more stable ones.

CW - There’s plenty of trades to be had on the wider market so I’m not suggesting to only look here. But since people seem to be watching this daily there is a trade to be had.

It’s been pointed out by several the base seems to be around 38p and we are repeatedly seeing an attack on 47-48.

I’ve been trading a small lump in this range to extract a bit of cash, trick is not to get too greedy in at 39 out at 45 is 15%

I’m not touching my core holding and don’t mind getting stuck in or out but I’ve hit this trade twice now and the 3rd opportunity was to buy yesterday and looks like an out today/tomorrow.

Nice read Slow burner as expected last paragraph sums up that they are having to be very pro active to try and fill the trial.

For those underwater here there will be another easy 15-20% on offer over the next few days.

Chrishar - It’s still only Tuesday let’s see where we close Friday.

If I was coming at this share a fresh I’d probably look to enter earliest Thursday latest following Wednesday.

Chrishar - I think your post highlights my suspicion that many people invested hoping to catch the run into results and de-risk.

Ergo most are probably over weight with SNG in their portfolio and either cutting their losses (poor decision IMO) or getting very twitchy.

There has been the opportunity to trade your way out of this position there have been several fairly obvious 15-30% swings on offer.

This share will be one of life’s lessons for most I am still holding but then I can truly afford to loose 100% of what I invested.

The risk/reward is very favourable currently but I will not invest more because my quota for SNG is full.
