Your research is very thorough I can’t fault you on that but it’s worth cross referencing from time to time. The R&D going on here seems to mirror the announcements made by the unmentionable.

You can dress up exsig however you like and a potential saliva based PCR but it’s the same.

I’m sure we can agree that regardless of what we hold we just hope that countries fork out for the volume of testing that is actually required rather than giving it lip service.

gggg21 - If you are happy with the product you are currently using why do you commission a study to explore technologies on the market, if ultimately you don’t plan in adopting the new tech.

My bet is they are currently not happy with what they have on many levels.

Primers new offerings will go some way to addressing that as will GDR’s I doubt either will scoop more than the other.

You can continue to join the dots how you see fit but the simple fact is the machines don’t care which test they run.

Kaeren - I did indeed autocorrect catches us all in the end. Bramley is a very factual poster good bit of research on condor and GDR’s links with Nottingham and Manchester uni’s might put them in good stead to pick up a bit of business.

But it runs on the same hardware so I’d expect labs to switch to buying more of the new product and less of the old, to increase throughput.

Suggest you read the conversation but Manchester Uni ties could benefit us a lot on getting selected as a preferential supplier.

CW25 - Yeah selfishly I’d prefer a takeover so I can hit my price target and exit nice and clean cut.

If it goes down the licensing route which is looking more likely I’ll have to adjust and cut some at a price and let the rest roll on.

I think they are also only interested in blocking hostile takeovers we are actively looking for some sort of deal.

I’m not sure the Management here are receptive to a takeover? Hostile bids are fairly rare.

They will be cashed up I would have thought more likely we could got on the acquisition route ourselves.

Chrishar - I agree with you with the share price at this level this is definitely less risky than it was say 3-4months ago.

I think it’s highly likely we will see several spikes of Covid in the future, it’s happening elsewhere so we would be stupid to think we will fair any better. That should help the share price here.

I’m fascinated to see the 6monthly financials here that I believe is when you will see the true value cemented and share price movements that more realistically project future growth.

There is a big variation in selling price of the primer kits I’ve seen everything from 5 to 12 euros quoted. Which makes it very hard to extrapolate profit since your conservative and optimistic values are so far apart.

Which is why trying to put a share price target on this is difficult I’m sure most here will agree that it is somewhat north of here.

It’s a shame nothing seems to be able to hold its gains currently, it breeds traders rather than investors.

G-Man - It’s a good thing we are IFN Beta and not Lambda I’m not an expert of IFN’s but I do know they are very different and one should not confuse alpha beta or lambda

Chrishar - Spot on with your other post ref milestones and news required to get this moving again.

Ref your treatment remark perhaps the hope is that a prophylactic is found negating the need for testing all together and you just treat as a precaution or self diagnose. But that’s to be discussed elsewhere.

Wilson - Primer are obviously on the ball development wise but that’s still only a test, we need the government policy in tandem.

My concern is that to date the government has dragged their heels on testing and come the winter we cannot simply rely on people choosing to take a test.

The share price here being so low is confusing and the only thing I can attribute to that is that unlike Germany, the countries currently experiencing Covid spikes are not driving an aggressive testing stance that includes the US.

I’d love to see an aggressive testing policy if we get a second wave in the winter and that would mean mega bucks here but I won’t hold my breath.

Wilson - Lets see how the next 6months pans out.

I'm interested to see the governments reaction to the inevitable 2nd major wave likely to coincide with the UK's natural virus period. Will they boost testing capacity to the level required or will they worm their way out of it again.

Think about December/January when everyone is likely to have some form of cold symptoms if everyone follows guidelines they should be getting a test which would mean huge demand.

Do you see the government providing the capacity required? I'm unsure on this.

Equally will people have the desire to get a test? We where meant to meet up with a friend today who was showing Covid Symptons so had a test result came back inconclusive rather than having a second test they decided not to bother, needless to say we cancelled our plans and will be giving them a wide birth for a while.

So if I'm honest I'm on the fence with testing I hold small holdings in a few testing stocks 6monthly balance sheets should look good.

Dave - It's just my opinion that the UK stock market will have a delayed reaction, just like there was a delayed reaction of the UK as a whole to the initial outbreak in China.

There's no denying that the current actions of the general public in the UK is not conducive to eradicating Covid 19 anytime soon. I am continually stunned on a daily basis by the actions of others the sad fact is, it is likely the offenders are not the ones who will pay the ultimate price.

The infection rate as you say is spiralling in America again what is interesting is that this is still being allowed to happen, what does that suggest about the priorities of the leadership and the population towards their most vulnerable people.

Sadly I don't see Covid being taken seriously here for the next few months and firmly believe it will cost us dearly in September. Mass unemployment, no concrete containment strategy and no manufacturing capacity on UK soil to endure another wave. But perhaps I am too pessimistic?

Sharehunter - I don't see Covid plays hotting up again until September. It's in the governments interest to get people out of lockdown and spending this summer, Covid is a nuisance to this agenda and is being downplayed hence the stopping of the daily briefings etc.

The virus season this winter will be an interesting time when literally the entire population at some point will have covid symptons do you get tested and or self isolate? I doubt it I imagine we will learn to live with this like we live with the flu.

Treatments and a flu like vaccine is likely to be the way back to normality, if SNG proves well tolerated and effective do you even bother to test if its covid you have or just a simple cold probably not.

gggg21 - I've also spoken to them they fell short of confirming they have an exclusive contract with genesig but yes it does appear that they currently use Primer as their sole supplier.

"Chugtai exclusively use genesig!" Do you have a source for that info?

Seb - I agree with you on that it was a different Richard in that interview.
