Forest - Swings and round abouts they’ve got phase 2 trial data for covid and a licensing agreement which funds their phase 3 placebo controlled trial.

However their phase 2 data was not placebo controlled so we should be in a stronger bargaining position with our COPD and Hospital data.

Certainly worth keeping an eye on the progress of Betterlife and anti covir.

We should in theory have a much better data set so if they receive EUA I don’t see how they could refuse us if we have good trial data.

Woodstock - I remember Rich from the days of XEL whilst it appears he stayed in the market I chose to pull my gains and invest elsewhere.

I’m back in the market now because the current volatility makes it very attractive.

So whilst it’s impressive they’ve managed to keep the same LSE account running for so long, I’d take with a pinch of salt what 20,000 posts means in terms of investing prowess.

I’ll be out of the markets again come October or if sooner once I have achieved my target.

@Scart - they confirmed it had a check for the PCR reaction itself but nothing on number of gene targets and human RNA. So many clear cut advantages for the GDR test, a sales teams dream it sells itself.

Magsy - It's also not clear if their Exsig product is a liquid or freeze dried assay, personally I think GDR still have the edge. They are also looking at mobile PCR hopefully we can beat them to it again with the genedrive version of our test.

Nolupus - I'd be planning for both eventualities and I think the planning steps are similar.

Phase 3 and or Emergency use requires more drug delivery so you get manufacturing in place at scale and explore funding options.

Could we not start a larger Phase 3 and get emergency use at the same time I don't see it as exclusively one or the other. EUA can be withdrawn at any stage and Phase 3 would be unblinded I assume.

Which is why they have made a point of keeping the dosing levels identical in COPD, hospital and At home, quickest way of turning around the trials and maximises the combined data set to build the safety case.

The wording of the RNS implied IMO that the rollout had nothing to do with performance of the trial and more to do with take up rate in the original catchment area.

So roll out is a necessity, it proves that the treatment methodology works on a large scale but was not Plan A.

It was a factual RNS but neutral and I think the market agrees.

Globally there seems to be a rise in cases so interest is flowing back to covid stocks in time for the results which will suit us.

Is the timing of todays RNS because the AGM is just around the corner?

Hopefully the options will prove to be well deserved it certainly looks that way to me.

I wasn’t expecting a big write up but was expecting a footnote reiterating summer for COPD.

Which makes me think they can’t legitimately say summer now but don’t want to say next week for example.

All speculation and could be nothing in it.

No mention of COPD results timeline in the latest RNS. I know it was primarily a Covid update, but I had expected to see them confirm again Summer for COPD. Could they be imminent?

ShearClass - I think you are a little blinkered if you do not want to discuss or debate todays news and how it relates to the market as a whole.

I'm not intending to cross-ramp just highlighting that the content of todays RNS is not as spectacularly novel and new as others might choose to believe.

It does not make this a good or bad investment that's up for the individual to decide.

Debate is healthy we can all learn from it.

fali41 - The description given by the government also fits the GDR test, I wouldn't be so confident that they where talking about Exsig.

I think expectation needs to be managed a little here the RNS today is good news the NCYT product is now more user friendly.

What the market really needs is financial info. How much will the Exsig kit sell for, the GDR test is setting the bar at £8-10 for a product that does everything that Exsig does and a little more.

With the Gates foundation seemingly pushing GDR into India I think what will really move NCYT is the financials will be interesting to see how the share of the market is carved up between these two companies both ones to watch.

Timely RNS from NCYT brings them back in line with the competition regarding number of processes in their tests.

That also reads as 100% success rate for those on the placebo!

A strong placebo could still cause us problems but it does bode well.

Top company this not a whiff of a leak thus far.

Are you in here too? Noticed you posting a lot on GDR I did very well out of that share and have been tempted back in due to the recent pull back. Exciting month ahead for both shares.

I think ultimately since it’s a third party that will analyse the data the more you pay the faster they will do it. It’s likely to be a resource limited process the more people they throw at it the faster it gets done.
