Dave - 100% sure they are from yesterday. They appear at the time of posting in my ADVFN level 2 feed but if I go to the London Stock Exchange website there is a chunk missing in the reported trades to the tune of 5,808,496

5,808,496? of the late reported trades are from yesterday. Unlikely to be buys most likely Acacia offloading some more, we will find out next week I guess.

Jakman - Indeed I mentioned on another board if online trading was suspended for a week and you actually had to phone your broker and have a conversation to deal i'm sure the markets would be less volatile.

A few weeks delay when normally trials take years is understandable, it's quite remarkable what Synairgen have achieved in such a short space of time.

Unfortunately events outside of their control are moving the share price currently, hopefully with their next move they will have learnt from the games that have been played and if fortunate enough to have successful trial results partner up with someone that is going to stick around.

I agree it's poor form to buy an asset you intend to pay for with it's own funds, they obviously had enough credit to back up the deal though.

Jack an - if you place a limit buy at the price you are looking for it may get dealt in the auction. You’ll get a quote in about 5mins time if you prefer to wait.

Coldspy - the shares in auction it’s bound to be NT currently.

Expect the worst hope for the best.

I fully expect Acacia to sell out entirely which could take weeks.

I’m hoping whatever they choose to do they rap it up by the end of next week.

gkb47 - thanks for posting, have you managed to decipher what the aforementioned clause was trying to achieve?

It’s always a struggle with legal text, seems to be a mechanism to bring forward the date of ownership for SNG and the other mentioned companies?? Or have I got that completely wrong.

Finally the dust is settling a bit on this one and we are starting to see the full picture.

I’m pleased the Link shares got included in the Arcacia sale they had a choice of what to buy and obviously saw value in SNG amongst others. They’ve sliced a few across the board so be it.

Let’s not count our chickens yet, several strong trading days to close out the week would be a good sign. By strong I’m talking 2-3% incremental gains.

I’d be happy to close out the week in the 40’s.

Chrishar - I'll be back if something material changes, RNS, Research etc but for now I fear we will be inundated with both doomsters and rampers, and I've got a lot on at work to focus on.

Crypto - I hear you sadly the board is trash now think I’ll go elsewhere for a while.

Punit - I expect the MM's still have a bit of an overhang to shift so whilst we have seen some reasonable buying after the TR1 there seems to be plenty of shares available hence no upward pressure yet.

Magsy - GDR already have good links with the US military I can see our test being a must have on all ships, submarines even military bases. That alone would be a decent deal.

Nice to see some new and old faces joining the board today.

Safy - Agree ref India have done business deals there in the past the paper work is immense they drive you down on price and then try and wiggle out of paying on time.

Fantastic place to travel and lovely people but corruption is rife.

DubleD - Yep exactly, I doubt we will ever see it fixed, it's a trivial software problem of adding an additional bit to indicate buy or sell.

Liam - Accurate Buy and Sell logging would be a very simple issue to fix but it won't be as long as it gives the city/market a perceived advantage. Smoke and Mirrors.

The Buy and Sell algorithm looks at the trade and compares it to the current spread. Large trades typically get delayed reporting, 1hour 3hours 24hours etc.

So trades are often compared against the wrong spread so miss reported. Also if trades go through at Mid price the algorithm has no chance of identifying if it was a buy or sell.

Its a very crude system one that is very easily fixable.
