rickmeister - I think that demonstrates that perhaps if you initiate a trade to shift a blaock that covers multiple disclosure points you only have to TR1 once the block is shifted.

Makes sense since if you where dumping 3% in one go why should you release 3 TR1's for each % point especially if you conclude the trade in a single day (unlikely).

Destitute - You made a good whack on this well done for that. Normally II's dumping is a bad sign. But the Link situation is different.

They have been tasked to wind up a fund to get investors their money back. They have a remit to get the best price but certainly not a remit to gamble with investors money.

Looks like they held off selling SNG until they worked out if it would be part of the bigger deal with Accacia. When it was clear it was not they pulled the trigger.

Silly thing is if they had just sold earlier like Griffiths and Lansdowne they would have made investors more dosh.

The investors in the fund are pretty ****ed off at the value Link are creating from the old woodford assets they don't seem to be doing a good job of wrapping it up. But they are in a weak position as a forced seller and everyone knows.

Nearly got margin called this morning on my additional longs glad I stuck to my guns. Hoping for a slow drift up now to a more sensible price 45-50p would do nicely over the next couple of weeks

Chrishar - Agree general market sentiment drove it up combined with expectations of results a bit sooner than reality.

General market sentiment is driving it down combined with a small delay and a or several institutions offloading.

The science is the same, the risks are the same, the reward unchanged.

How about a bet nothing at stake but bragging rights end of August gain on SNG will eclipse gain on IAG I’ll even let you have the lowest price achievable to buy IAG this week since SNG has had its low and IAG is on its way down.

It costs me less to buy a share therefore my odds must be worse... interesting logic.

Surely it’s easier to double money invested today than it was last month.

I wonder if online transactions were suspended for a week and to place buys and sells you actually had to phone your broker whether the markets would be as volatile.

SNG001 could be a useful drug to have in your arsenal if you had a large portfolio of drugs under development.

I’ve never engaged with Warwick because they deserve the right to express their opinion even if I don’t agree and I believe they are where a genuine holder at one point in time.

But the other names that appeared did seem to have a specific and similar agenda.

Portland1 - I expect many companies will do as you say but also many will not. My company for example took Covid as the opportunity to train up local expertise. It has been painful but the savings long term are immense and our clients like the local support, we will not be flying again in the same fashion as we did before. 100's of engineers making 10+ long haul trips a year.

Each engineer might make a single trip moving forward if that.

James - No i'm not I've actually opened several hefty long positions. I don't short it doesn't sit right with my ethics.

Probably wouldn't want to own office rental space either at the moment. Microsoft shares might be a good bet with all the teams subscriptions being taken out.

Seems to be moving backing up a bit now. Everything on L2 has been blue for the last hour or so. Lots of people with a nice entry point. No consolation for those myself included who bought higher, but plenty see the buying op here it appears.
