Habugg -I agree Habugg likewise I have numerous contacts smattered around the NHS and Private Pharma none of them doubt the science, but it take a lot more than just science to launch a drug.

It will be an interesting journey for this one which only really starts off the back of trial data.

jphilips - MM shenanigans we don't believe in that rubbish here. As a collective we have been working to decipher the share price movements of late.

This very weekend we uncovered proof that there is a significant holder above the 3% threshold that has not issued a TR1.

We also identified a fund below the 3% threshold that has sat tight on their placing shares or perhaps they bought them outside of the placing.

We are researching for the benefit of all involved, please contribute to the research people want to hear facts not fiction.

Take a leaf out of Trek's book he asks the tough questions but in a manner that is constructive to the discussion.

Habugg - I think we can all agree some form of funding will be required to take this beyond Phase 2.

That could be a placing, Licensing arrangement, merger etc.

What would be strange is to strike a deal prior to having the data available. Which is why as many of us have been discussing (and jphilips conveniently has chosen to ignore) the COPD data interim analysis might well be part of due diligence by a 3rd party who will provide funding.

A funding announcement would not be a surprise but to arrange funding before being in receipt of data is unlikely IMO but that is just an opinion.

BigLnt - I'm not a holder here but today's RNS would have been a regulatory requirement by the FCA. If the share rises by more than a fixed % I think circa 40-50% intraday then they have to issue the speeding ticket RNS. Or they have to issue an RNS with the material information that is driving the rise if it's not already publicly known.

Welcome back Trek you called it right on GDR. Interesting theory here I doubt they would raise without headline results for atleast one of the trials. As you say COPD might be that leverage.

jphilips - No one is saying that it is the end everyone is fully aware that after results we will next the next phase. The broker targets are for successful trial results not for fully funded product to market.

Exactly Chris pure stroke of luck that we had placebo lined up for the COPD trial and where able to change tac so quickly. Which means the dataset we will generate from the Hospital trial will be first class, and we have been allowed to use the COPD data set to further support the hospital data.

Obviously we still need a positive result but the company is in a good position.

Liam - This report on a competing drug gives an indication of what may lay ahead on a successful trial, its worth a read.

Note: BetterLife did not conduct a placebo controlled Phase 2 study, with the data set from Phase 2 they signed a licensing deal to fully fund phase 3.

Gillead on the other hand off the back of their less than stellar trial data managed to get emergency use authorisation.

It will be an interesting road ahead but first we need the results of the trials to be positive.

jphilips - Successful results in Hospital could also result in emergency use authorisation in conjunction with a wider phase 3 trial. Perhaps your view is a little blinkered too.

Dave - The delay is nothing to do with them potentially being a Bed & ISA deal it is more likely due to the size of the trade.

If you where to buy 50k volume i'm sure it would also receive the same delayed posting. No idea why they choose to do this but they do.

SGD27 - Had not spotted they where in pairs. However that's one excellent broker if they can Bed and ISA and only loose you <0.5p on the trade.
