Scinv - why is it a big deal?

They have patents approved and think they have further patentable findings.

I think it’s clear no one will be able to rip off their formulation so any competitor will have to create their own formulation.

This simple fact means that they will also have to conduct their own trials to receive approval.

If they are prepared to go to those lengths to launch a rival product it means there is good reason to do so thus we are quids in any way.

Scinv - you keep bleating on about this yet we have an approved patent and we have good data.

So obviously SNG are doing something right that others are not.

Mr Big - there is a selection of IP in play some of it is pending some of it is already approved and has been for a long time.

When a poster shows up and questions if a patent will get approval and gives two reasons, is it not right that we politely point out that the company has an approved patent already that makes the same claims that they where point out.

Namely IFN and nebulisation.

No one is claiming that the IP is bullet proof but it at least serves the purpose of making any competitors go the long way round and develop their own formulation and gather their own trial data.

Liam - I have a distillery onboard, so if we get the right outcome here there will be a limited edition batch or two.

Tommy - let’s see how much damage the Indian variant does, it’s spreading pretty quickly in Manchester and London currently.

Also note we have never eradicated flu despite vaccines being available.

The current stock of vaccines have already had their effectiveness reduced dramatically by variants so I think it’s safe to say we will never eradicate covid and therefore have to learn to live with it through a combination of annual vaccinations for the vulnerable and broad spectrum therapeutics for everyone else.

Tommy - Well a competitor would have to create their own formulation to deliver a stable dose of IFN to the lungs. Once they’ve achieved that they would have to push it through a full range of clinical trials to seek approval, which takes years.

So at the very least SNG’s patent ensures any competition have to take the long route and cannot simply copy.

Tommy - That’s not even subtle... don’t you have better things to do with your time?

They already have several patents granted for their specific formulation so clearly yes it is patentable.

Kevin - I’m pretty confident we will have Activ2 news shortly which should aid the recovery here.

CW25 - I have the opposite problem I have a project starting this month which ultimately will require me to draw down on some of my SNG funds in a few months time. It will irk me no end if we are still down at these levels.

Takeover obviously makes it nice and clear cut and makes the decision on when to sell for you. Likely would bring the quickest value.

Licensing would achieve maximum value for shareholders but could take longer.

Either route will reward investors.

SeaBoy - Just a hunch.

First impression was interim CFO is in place to get the books in order for a takeover.

Legal Secretary to ensure the transaction is watertight.

Both of those signings are serial consultants, rinse and repeat at all the firms they have been at.

The CCO seems a bit different he will bring with him a lot of connections just feels like he’s more useful if you where brokering multiple licensing deals in different countries.

I may be wrong just a hunch.

This third hiring leads me to believe they are going down the licensing route but I may be wrong.

It’s quite typical in high up positions that you get put on paid gardening leave, to prevent you taking positions with competitors and knowing your current companies up to date plans.

6months is not out of the question.

Recently a lot of share holders have been calling for RM to be more active on social media.

I’d like to point out a recent case study where an active CEO on social media has been a detriment to a share.

Look at He1 the excitement and share price was pumped by the CEO through regular engagement with investors over social media.

The price inflated nicely so share holders are happy. A small whiff of a 2week delay (yes 2weeks) and the share price takes a beating.

This is not a dig at He1 I think it’s a good opportunity but it highlights how hype on social media can introduce unnecessary volatility into a stock.
