My bottom drawer is reserved for shares that I don’t intend to trade on in the next 12-18months. It has no bearing on the quality of the stock I have a chunk of dividend stock that have resided in the bottom drawer for years.

My top drawer is for shares I’m actively looking to make a decision on short term that may be because they are pure junk and I want to cut my losses.

IMO SNG will commercialise but be prepared to wait up to 2years for decent returns.

Manifesto - Certainly haven’t lost faith but I’m not expecting a lot of movement from the news inbound.

I get the feeling Active will be replaced by another trial rather than just a rehash. Agreed it’s a positive we did not get binned like the other drug remaining.

Reading between the lines I’m expecting the platform trial that we end up on to be US based and the replacement to the activ program which I’m confident has stalled and will be replaced.

Peer Review of SPRINTER what significance do you attribute to this.

My understand is that a successful PEER review would ratify that our published findings are all in order.

Essentially confirming what we already know to be the case a promising but failed study due to insufficient power to achieve desired end points. Unfortunate circumstances around improved standard of care and reduction in lethality of the prominent variants.

Long Covid sounds promising but also sounds a long way off.

Activ2 - P3 seems unlikely unless you’ve got some info that it’s moving forward. Seems like the active program is stalled IMO.

My take is:

Platform Trial news required urgently (I have faith this is top priority of BOD)

PEER review imminent but likely negligible impact on SP

Long Covid potentially very promising but seems to be no urgency around releasing data perhaps more data required before conclusions drawn.

AJ316 - it’s probably because I’m cranky due to isolating with covid currently! Avoided it for best part of two years but it finally found me.

AJ316 - Or perhaps I’m one of the fortunate ones who is not sitting on a loss and therefore can objectively view the situation.

AJ316 - I just say it like I see it always have and I’m never afraid to admit when I’m wrong and discuss both sides of the coin in an investment that I hold.

This forum has gone from wanting to burn RM at the stake at the AGM to suggesting we are months away from significant share price gains.

It’s not a stable place for reasonable discussion at the moment IMO. Caution would be advised especially with the wider global economic prognosis.

Doc83 - On a platform trial we will be at the mercy of the organisation running it. So whilst it will be cheep for us we could end up in a load of politics or waiting for an age like activ-2 for data. Don’t get me wrong I really think we will commercialise the product I’m just very wary of allowing myself to think it will be a quick process. We’ve been caught out too many times.

Andrew- and back to 35p prior to readout some of us remember it well. It was also at the beginning of the pandemic when the stock market was going nuts for anything that mentioned covid.

The stock market does not have the same fizz to it now.

Manifesto - You obviously didn’t attend the AGM so a lot of your recent enthusiasm is based on the write up that was shared here.

I think you’ve jumped to a few conclusions and if you’d attended and spoke to the BOD you may have had a fuller picture.

Perhaps 70p in the final quarter of the trial period as excitement builds towards a result but 70p on joining. I really don’t see it.

Assuming PT is to run this winter I recon first dosing in January, peak covid maybe February time. Trial readout June optimistically.

In fact I’d be over the moon at a trial readout next June.

All the evidence suggests there will be no takeover of SNG prior to a successful P3 trial.

SNG are currently at their weakest position if someone wanted them they would have been taken out already.

To shift the discussion one thing that has been playing on my mind is how would a new platform trial find a pool of patients.

Testing is no longer easily accessible or mandatory.

Ergo it’s likely we may get a scenario this winter similar to the start of the pandemic whereby patients are pitching up at A&E already multiple days into an infection cycle.

Does that play into our hands? I haven’t made my mind up on this yet.

Excitement from board members at AGM is great but remember they also quite clearly said this will not be commercialised in 12months time.

I’m just asking for realism and tempering of the claims that we are months away from something pivotal.

Ref your poly theory would it surprise you to know that myself and a couple of other investors communicated with the Ned via our brokers to question the need for resolutions 12/13.

I personally felt like their absence would remove the question of fundraising from these boards and appeal to PI.

I doubt poly care a jot since they’d likely be front of cue for discounted placing shares.

If the stars align and A+B+C+D happen all at the same time within 6months a big shinny takeover will happen!! *Rolls Eyes*

Is there any language coming from SNG that suggests they would entertain a takeover. They built up and have retained a team capable of commercialisation SNG exists in 18months time is my call.

Poly are in the driving seat meaning? They meet with the board every 6months, very much doubt they are micromanaging things here and are happy to let things run their course they hardly have a large % of their total capital in SNG.

Again reference to the next 2months let’s come back in two months and see what has actually been achieved, my opinion is you need to calibrate your two months to equate to 6.

Explain the significance of resolutions 12/13. I think this is a non-event. They have cash so won’t need to raise they can always throw them back in in 12months time. So it was just a symbolic gesture.

Enough of the ramping more realism please.

By all means be optimistic but let’s stay factual and learn from our previous tendency to expect too much too soon.

Manifesto - I’m still invested here. The point I’m trying to make is the swing in mood on this board is wild. People set themselves up for failure time and time again but expecting too much too quickly.

If this was a dog of a share i would have cut and run. I’m holding with a 12month+ horizon hence they are in the bottom drawer and I will check back in periodically.

Anyway expecting meaningful returns in less than 6months is barking up the wrong tree.

By all means enjoy the optimism and the news that is likely to drop over the next few months but be honest with yourselves this has month and months to play out.

Previously commercialisation was months away hence the valuation at the time.

Blimey has no one learnt their lesson! People really are reading what they want to hear from the AGM update and clearly overlooking some clear signals.

The previous share price highs where reflective of a drug company on the cusp of commercialisation.

Whilst making it onto an open platform trip will be great news I don’t expect a huge uplift.

There are a lot of pain points on the way up here as we have a significant amount of holders in the red.

People need to start thinking in timeframes of 6months chunks rather than the next two months will be great.

The reality is little will change in 2months. In 6months time we may be in the middle of a platform trial.

In 12months time we may be talking results of that trial in 18 months time we may be talking commercialisation.

These are the real inflection points. 2months time we’ll be trading the same range as today.
