This individual is the elected representative of the board to protect the interest of the investors and shareholders.

My stance is it is concerning that these avenues are being considered considering the situation the company finds themselves in.

It’s the moves of a research company looking to continue their research not a company looking to commercialise a product.

Which was one of the more concerning points I and others took away from the AGM.

The right decision for your business coincidentally normally happens to be the right decision for your shareholders.

Decisions that result in short-medium term pain for your shareholders are always backed up with the long term vision of why this is the right move.

You take on debt to realise opportunities, you divest into new markets which improve the available overall cagr.

It’s simple they pivoted from COPD to Covid which they articulated at the time and off the back of this pivot they raised significant funds and put themselves on a new plan. If they intend to pivot back I would expect any competent CEO to articulate this to the market.

Manifesto - You run your own business with your own money presumably make your own decisions perhaps it’s large enough to have a board of directors who decide on the strategic focus.

RM runs a Ltd company funded by share holders. He is accountable to share holders.

He raised funds on the stock market for the purpose of performing a phase 3 covid trial and achieving approval for SNG001 in this use case.

If you turn around and tell me it’s ok for him to be spending these cash reserves on other opportunities that may mean the reserves are spent quicker that is not ok.

When you run a large public traded company your strategy of execution must be aligned with the expectations of your major shareholders.

If I decided to pivot the focus of the business unit I run in a large publicly traded organisation I would need to ensure the business case was watertight I was operating within my budget constraints, I had the resource both time, money and material to do so and it did not jeopardise negatively the core deliverables that was expected from me to meet full year targets.

The phrase plan what you do and execute the plan springs to mind.

They had a plan they now need to execute it.

If they want to play in other areas come back to the market and raise more funds ring fenced for that.

Throwing Darts is exactly that throwing ideas out there to see what sticks.

It implies a complete lack of targeted leads.

I would hope the board have a one track mind in securing a PT for covid and that it is kept as simple as possible to receive approval for the drug even in the smallest of subsets.

Once approved they can play with the numerous other opportunities subgroups etc but their first goal has to be data in quantity for whatever will get approval the quickest.

Mani - It wasn’t a jibe I’m trying to understand the timing of both yours and Tommy’s posts. The information has been floating around in the ether for a few weeks just curious why choose now to discuss it?

Reality is it was a great vote of confidence in SNG. Receiving this endorsement from professionals in their field reinforces our case for a place on a PT trial.

On the flip side the ATS conference, the deep dive analysis, the activ 2 data and the published peer review of sprinter will all serve the same purpose to build the argument that SNG deserves a place on a significant PT study.

If the PT study comes first those other pieces of news are nice but not a necessity.

If those pieces of news arrive but no PT trial arrives we are up **** creek without a paddle.

As we are all acutely aware a place on a PT is essential everyone who holds shares is doing so because they believe the science is strong enough to warrant this.

Roll on September and hopefully the news we are all hoping for.

If you actually read some of the posts from the genuine holders here you will see that they are all agreed that the science is sound.

They are all very much invested and they all want a good outcome.

But we are fed up of reading your tosh about news tomorrow and how it will propel the share price. Value is built on solid foundations we are building those foundations it takes time.

In fact Mani perhaps it would do your mental state some good if you spent a few days maybe even a week away from the board.

On the contrary I was discussing how the credibility of SNG and in particular SSH means that it is expected peer review will be achieved since they would not put their name to shoddy research.

How do you want to spin this now Mani keep digging your hole.

Have you heard the saying “buy on rumour sell on news”

The gains from a peer review are already baked into the share price since it’s assumed already that company is not telling porkies.

I think you would better understand my position on SNG if you learnt to objectively separate the business aspects from the science.

You get so stuck in the science you are blinkered to the harsh realities of commercialising a drug.

The science from day one has been sound it just needs to be proven with rigour.

SNG have always maintained the stance that data is king.

I trust in SSH that any data the company puts out will be watertight.

Therefore I would expect when reviewed by peers agreement on trial conclusions would be met.

A peer review does not change the facts around the Sprinter trial it still failed to meet its endpoints whilst demonstrating that the drug shows merit.

Peer review is just a part of the scientific process.

Dunk - I agree scare mongering like that is simply untrue. Half yearly results are due soon and will factually put to bed any cash concerns.

I get the sense there is a lot of people emotionally invested here in fact a lot of people have admitted along the way they are perhaps more exposed than they should be here.

I’m wishing a good outcome for everyone involved and hopefully a speedy one but nothing is guaranteed.

Also remember the AGM was not recorded for a reason and no RNS was released prior to the AGM for a very good reason.

No market sensitive information was revealed at the AGM.

HSD - Yes we are certainly a good fit from an outsiders perspective hopefully early September holds true.

HSD - I’m pretty sure the Phase 3 protocol was adjusted to have more favourable end points for a therapeutic that was broad spectrum can anyone remember the conversation around this and the update of the trial register?

At the time this happened it seemed to imply they liked what they saw from SNG but that it was touch and go on endpoints in the P2
