Now I understand the delay he must have been thinking about that humorous title for months!!

Hopefully they back it up with some signals in the trial data.

My perception of the Reddit crowd is they have an endless desire to chew the cud on minutiae that often leads nowhere.

They also have a sense of humour failure when you view the interactions they have on this board. Maybe on Reddit they post differently.

A great example is a post made on the guild recently a respected poster discussing AMR “....or have booked the wrong conference?”

Met with a flurry of jokes and laughter and then a few tidbits of info as to why AMR is not such a left of field option and then move on.

No need to debate for hours since everyone is happy to wait and see and no need to get on the defensive as there is the recognition that everyone is invested.

Interesting week ahead of us next week for sure.

I started off down the line of thinking that the tittle was missing due to sensitive material but that doesn’t make sense IMO for the following reasons.

The role of the conference is to sell more bums on seats it’s existence relies on being well attended and a source of new and exciting information. I can see why they would have embargoed a speaker so they can announce news first and be seen to be leading. However I would expect them to want to do this with enough time to convert the optimism into tickets.

SNG want to drum up interest in their product so would want to give forewarning to potential customers/partners about a presentation that could potentially yield interesting discussion. So surely they could craft a title that peaked interest without giving away anything sensitive “IFN-B and it’s role in Antimicrobial stewardship” for example. They could RNS their involvement drum up interest for the conference and their slot. Then RNS on morning of presentation or immediately before the market sensitive content if any.

What I cannot see the logic in is essentially doing nothing. This is a conference which is not the natural playing field for SNG so unlikely that many attending would have them on their must tune in list. If the conference has indeed got a scoop why would you wait so close to the event to give an indication as to what is going on.

I don’t see the logic in saying nothing so my assumption is delayed submission of tittle.

Discussion/counter arguments most welcome.

Mani - Few questions for you, if you are a LTH why

- Does it matter if someone suggests the share price will dip to 15p?
- Does it matter if the share price actually drops to 15p
- Does it matter if people are happy to wait a few weeks to hear what RM has to say rather than second guess

Everything that seems to get yours and others backs up is related to the short term prognosis of the share and what might effect the near time price movements.

Yet if you are in it for the long term surely you understand that the drug will sell for the value of the drug and the near term share price movements have zero outcome on this.

This is what I cannot understand you talk like you are in it for the long haul but act like you have a position to unwind.

Tommy - I’m genuinely confused as to your motives.

You have a Reddit board where you discuss matters relating to SNG I assume these are sensible discussions since it’s a closed board so naturally that filters complete trolls.

Then you post here complaining that no discussion is taking place meanwhile you withhold material that could well spur discussion here.

Why spend so much time trying to engineer topics of conversation here that have obviously been discussed elsewhere.

If you really want the discussion to take place here perhaps just be straight up and post without the agenda or the time lag.

Tommy - Your post just confirmed what’s going on here so thanks for that, if you are having these conversations on Reddit what is the point on antagonising here and withholding info.

If your motives are straight up just post at time of receipt and I’m sure the conversation would be better for it. Rather than baiting then dropping.

The Reddit crowd come across as scheming no offence but that’s always seemed the case.

LSE has always been the heartbeat of the stock might not have the best content but reflects the emotional situation of the investor base.

Guild has always come across as the place where real discussion happens with no judgement or motive.

Tommy et al if you want a proper adult chat on AMR suggest you pitch up on the guild thread where there is some relevant discussion taking place.

Tommy - I guess most people are just happy to wait and see after all it’s not long to wait to find out the true facts.

Fruits - I was suggesting more along the lines of admin efficiency than admin error.

I’d love for RM’s talk to include RNS worthy content. But until that RNS lands I’m keeping my feet rooted on the ground and siding with late submission of title.

Regardless it should be an interesting talk that will hopefully touch on new ground.

The responses from people to the 15p prediction made me laugh why even bother responding to that obvious rubbish, it gives it more oxygen than it deserves.

Your article you posted was great think it was Doc that suggested that may be the reason why RM was at the conference but obviously he is not a favoured poster so it died a death before you posted an article to back up his opinion.

As for the tittle not existing for his talk I’m leaning towards lazy admin of the conference rather than market forces blocking the title.

If it had just been his talk effected then maybe but a whole raft of pieces and panel discussions omitted is just lazy admin IMO delighted to be proven wrong when the time comes though.

Mani - Perhaps you could just choose to not post a response rather than a pointless post saying I will not respond to your sensible discussion.

Mani - Can you remember what happened to the share price when various II’s attempted to unwind their positions.

Polygon won’t achieve a clean exit if they sell into the market to attempt to do that would cause incredible pain to the share price even despite increased volume due to good news. Or try et would have to drip for months.

A book is built for polys stake and it’s offloaded as one only way I see it playing out.

Dunk - That’s completely baseless you have no idea what transactions I have or have not made with respect to my holdings here.

I’ll touch base on the ethical side again once SNG receives approval there is a project in the works perhaps some of the beneficiaries here will have deep pockets when the time comes.

Hold - Agreed it really is a troubling time with so many complex and interlinked issues globally.

As you have indicated in your previous post the science here has always been the main motivation for this investment. I can wholeheartedly agree with that and have championed that over the years the return for me is secondary, the primary motivation has always been to support a drug that I believe has and could save more lives.

I’m not sure what gave you that idea. I have a very long term view on all my investments it’s easier to predict long term value than short term fluctuations.

Hold - What is your feeling on timing ref trial? What would be your ideal outcome and what would be your date by which you would be concerned if we had not netted a trial?
