We have an energy and food crisis pushed to the brink by a nuts war which serves only to distract the invading nation from it’s internal issues.

We are in the middle of an environmental crisis which requires us all to demand more from those that govern us.

We do have a well funded and resourced booster vaccination program which will help to protect the most vulnerable.

Unfortunately we do not yet have the broad spectrum antiviral that could be a very useful tool to help the NHS weather the winter surge of influenza, etc. Our time will come I’m sure of it.

But to return to Mani’s original insinuation we will not see lockdowns in western nations this winter and the vaccination program is not failed. Businesses that trade with China have built resilience into their supply chains through regionalisation. Inflation may also temper demand.

To level up collectively the well off need to become less so.

- It is internal policy rather than vaccine effectiveness causing the disruption
- Even if approved SNG would generate 0 revenue in China. I think RM & Co know this

Without wishing to start a vaccine debate again, the vaccine has delivered on its objective to get us functioning again as a global economy.

People are travelling globally without major restrictions and importantly without overwhelmingly the NHS in the manner it was during the early days of the virus.

Irrespective of our investment here let’s all hope it never gets back to that dire situation.

What this situation has exposed is that we are vulnerable to incidents like this and that we might not escape next time. There is a place for SNG I’m sure of it and our time will come.

Take session 8C at the upcoming ERS it references all authors on the trial that will be discussed, however the session is led by 2 discussants from the conference. Reps in the trial may be present in the audience but my understanding won’t by default be in the discussion.

The static poster display that you are referring to at the ATS will almost certainly have been manned by company representatives and it is a safe assumption that a team of people did this for practical reasons alone, 2 or 3 of the names on the list perhaps.

No patent submission yet keeping eyes open for that as the first indicator on the significance, will need to come pre talk.

Tommy - I think we first plugged SNG as a broad spectrum antiviral with potential as a combination therapy way before the Reddit board existed don’t think you can claim that one sorry.

Antimicrobial action is a new one and strengthens the breadth of the drugs potential.
