Your bleating about SNG as a LC treatment is nonsense and will never be trialed.

Even if it reduced LC symptoms it would be a niche benefit but there is nothing to suggest it would do that.

Sure we have data to suggest it prevents the condition to start with.

But we also know the latest strains of covid do not have the same LC effects.

The focus for SNG is and always has been as a broad spectrum antiviral with a proven safety record lending itself to combination therapy.

Spoke to the CFO the other day nice chap they seem to be fairing well relative to others in the industry.

If they can keep their cost base neutral in the short term they should do nicely.

- Flu trial will start enrolment with defined agents of which SNG is not one.

- STRIVE will start with an agent that is not SNG

The reality of this is why We are exploring other options. Route one is blocked currently.

As alluded to for months 2023 is SNG’s time this ruffled your feathers in June/July perhaps you see it my way now?

Mani - Or all PT studies are in limbo which makes it useless to SNG to have that as #1 route.

Which implies nothing is majorly advanced yet.

The quickest route is a government backed PT that sucks in volume.

The issue is these vehicles are not leaving the station because central governments are not aligned yet on how the winter will shape up.

STRIVE protocol is not approved yet for this very reason, they are dithering.

Tommy and others know we are not the first trialist on STRIVE which is why they no longer talk about it as the main focus.

JV would sure up the financials and provide an ultimate route to success but any JV will lead to a trial next year not this year. Hence why I have always claimed next year is when value will return to the share.

Mani - IMO they thought PT would be the fastest route but under estimated the disorganisation globally.

Take a look across the board and show me anything that is being run to a tight schedule and expedited as urgent. It’s simply not happening at the rate the original PT where.

So we have the pivot to JV op’s which is not a bad pivot but would have been much better executed months ago.

There was the money in the room at the agm to self fund another P3.

Doc - Agreed I personally would have wanted the board to have grown a pair and said we’ve done the deep dive we where not wrong on the science we want one final swing.

I would have backed a raise, we have drug product so I doubt a focused trial would have cost that much and importantly we are the masters of our own destiny.

Let’s just hope they’ve managed to secure a trial without funding.

If we miss this winter that would be extremely disappointing.

Ref my question on LC I’m not convinced one trial is the right vehicle to test both.

I suspect we have a better argument on the prevention side of LC.

Treating LC directly will be a massive field of research as I suspect there will be many manifestations depending on where the virus has penetrated.

Are you suggesting another covid trial with end points geared towards prevention of LC symptoms.

Taking patients with existing long covid symptoms and attempting to flush out the viral remnants?

In simple terms Poly have positioned themselves above the value curve in respect to a takeover.

Secondly this is exactly what I was suggesting you meant, you linked polys high average to the price a pi should expect.

Common sense suggests Poly will not allow their holding to sell at a loss although this is not a given.

But there is no link between polys sale price and the pi.

The perceived value of the share at the point of sale is the only link to the pi’s price.

Perceived value changes with trial news.

It is conceivable that Poly can leverage their position to achieve an above market rate.
