What also seems to be a trend is they often in their civilian lives go on to form really successful companies that work on some of the most complicated global issues focusing on bettering the lives of others

Reading a lot of comments over the past few days it’s clear people still have the faith that the science alone can be enough.

Call me cynical but I personally feel the science is already there or close enough to make a call.

But that science alone is not enough and the pharma world plays out on multiple agendas.

The lobbying, long term research grants, vested interests, egos etc have for a long time scuppered the expedited approval of SNG001 and will continue to.

The fight for SNG will be won through effective partnering, it’s time to grease the wheel and get it done.

It’s a commercial battle from here on out the science is taken care of IMO.

The removal of resolutions does not necessarily mean that key shareholders don’t support the idea of a raise they just want to be consulted on it and have a say. (Control over yes or no)

We all remember how annoyed our American funds got when they were not offered a seat at the last raise they upped and left.

Not sure the claims they would make an offer for SNG ever had any merit.

Companies house does show they report on the 31st Dec therefore will require stability in asset value in the preceding period.

I’m sure If we dig into accounting rules we might find some significance with the end of November which will align with the price action here.

Wonder if the book value of an asset is the price on a certain date or an average over a period prior to reporting.

Manifesto - The problem I have with you is you see what you want to see and ignore any other possibilities.

What we know from today is that some volume went through at 20.5p lifting the price.

Your assumption is that because the board have stated they will do everything in their power to move the drug towards commercialisation by any means that this buying volume suggests new is inbound. You and others have made an emotional decision and are now attaching pieces of factual information to try and support this emotive decision.

I loose count of the number of factual pieces of information that have been pulled in to suggest news is inbound how many turn out to be intrinsically linked to progression of the share price not many.

It's a very Trump esc way of decision making. You've made your emotional decision and are now searching for the information to support the facts. The crux of your emotional decision might be that you devotedly hold RM to his winter comment?

An alternative and less popular theory as to why there is action on the share currently is that it is coming up to year end and to value the book appropriately stability is required in the price. There may even be an incentive to raise the price by a few pence to reduce losses and secure larger bonuses? The manner in which the 4 bids are being edged up is not someone that is looking to execute the trades in a hurry, it doesn't even look like they want them to fill in entirety at all. So far the share prices has risen on very thin volume creating a reasonable gain in book value for little outlay.

Sure this is only an opinion but I'm forming this opinion based on what I see in front of me right now, we will find out the truth in time.

Aether - We will get another Trial for sure and will likely JV. IMO

PT who knows but my gut says the reaction was sluggish from the trial platforms (which have inertia and their own interests to look out for) which may force SNG down an alternate route.

Fruits - The 7th is linked to a theory I have it’s two weeks prior to a significant date in February so I’m expecting the price to move in anticipation.

Dunk - Difference is this is data provided by reputable services that are paid for, data that I screen record and archive for specific purposes.

There is no speculation as to whether it happened.

The only speculation is why and for what purpose.

@Tommy - That’s a very naive comment on your behalf, there are at least 2periods everyday where you cannot offer that. Since you have not executed that offer you also have no idea what it would do to the share price.

You are talking about dropping more volume in one trade than has traded on average for the past few weeks on this stock what do you think will happen.

If you don’t know the relative strength of the book when you try and execute that trade good luck to you.

I’m sure TFG would happily take them off your hands though.

2023 is nearby I’ll sharpen my prediction to February for value generating news on or after the 7th.

Fruits, Dunk - Early last week and end of the week prior we had a 15k seller drip feeding into the market. This was being absorbed but the book was on a dodgy footing and it would not have taken much to have breached below 16p who knows what sort of run that would have caused.

Then out of nowhere on Monday 4orders totalling 1.85% of the company shareholding appeared on the bid.

That’s precisely what TFG require to position themselves just below 30%, go figure.

Cleary there is not the volume to support such trades at the moment at the current price. Who knows what the motive was and indeed if it was TFG behind it.

But it shut the seller up which may have been the intention. In the days following there have been similar large orders which are unlikely to fill and appear to be an attempt to defend the share price.

It’s all a bit odd. If volume picks up they might fill but it’s not clear if the owner wants them to fill.

Mani - Go on then educate us all with your wisdom, explain the workings of the book this week and how the bottom nearly fell out of the share.

Can’t figure out if TFG are defending or attacking, time will tell.

Mani - there was a seller earlier in the week and some odd show of force on the book which added up mysteriously to the remainder of TFG’s 30%, likely an attempt to shire the price.

Fruits, Brand - Yes it’s worth remembering that operating out of Southampton is a huge wealth of talent in this area. Janssen have many reasons to run the trial from there.

The value proposition for SNG might end up being quite targeted as is true for many of the drugs in development, I’m convinced TopMD have an important role to play in the story here.
