From what I have gathered from government grants is that they don’t give money for shallow holes as “all the low hanging fruit have been picked” hence they only give grants for deeper holes that have been researched and proven to have potential. You won’t get one for shallow drills.

Personally, I can’t wait till the money starts flowing in and Shaun can really start getting down to the business of creating his “multi-asset” company. That’s when things will really become fun.

I’ve been in Antipa for a while now and I can’t help thinking they’d be a perfect JV partner for us in the Paterson. Both small and developing explorers with great teams onboard. I can see them also reaching free cash flow at some point in the next 2-3 years, whether that be tolling Minyari/WACA to Telfer or through their Rio JV at Calibre/Magnum.

Now at that stage, I reckon the two companies get together and build a plant 50/50 - the Paterson is going to have multiple mineralisations all over the place. Whoever builds the next production plant has a massive advantage over the rest. We don’t even need to JV with them regarding land, just the plant! Could cost us around $250-$300m each. It could be gold and copper or we could build it to process all the other minerals that Telfer or eventually Winu can’t treat.

Another processing plant could lead to other companies in the area also tolling their ore with us, which would definitely put us on the from foot in the Paterson. I really do think the whole area is eventually going to be being mined for decades and decades with all the mineralisation that’s being discovered.

You’ll also find that if you’re looking to get drunk, it will save you a fortune compared to beer/wine/spirits…raki is very very cheap in Greece and so is “rakomelo”, but after a few of these between 2/3/4 of you…guaranteed you’ll be drunk for pennies to the pound…

Yeah, get one of the multiple boats available and go to the nearby island called Folegandros…decide it’s nicer and stay there instead of Santorini for as long as you can before flying back…

Apart from that, try drinking something called “rakomelo” (raki boiled with honey and spices) - it’s best drunk hot (you don’t want the cold one called “psimeni raki”) - “rakomelo” comes hot with shot glasses, but it’s not for shooting, it’s for sipping…share it while it’s hot between the people at the table (comes in different sizes)…DONT get one each, goes cold fast. If you end up liking it, you’ll find it’s the only drink you’ll want for any occasion, whether it’s a relax at the beach bar during the day or a crazy night out!

So, I take it now Newcrest have reverted back to their quarterly release of results, we should be expecting the 6 weekly ones to come from us…so we’re looking at the week beginning 6/6-10/6?

Last few notes we’ve managed to see all had a target price and a target date. Regardless of whether Berenberg think it’s 10moz or 16moz or even if they pushed it to say 30moz, the timeline of things expected to happen in the next 8-12 months has stayed the same, hence the same 26p target price. If they used a longer time for the SP prediction, it would be higher with a 16moz resource.

Hey, @Bamps, News on the ARV board is one of the good guys. Think you just wound eachother up the wrong way that day. He was here years ago and he is very very good when it comes to bits of news and links about companies. He has a way of writing them as a timeline as well, I think more for his benefit of keeping track of things. His LSE board chat history is a very good way of finding pure facts and statements, he also dates everything. Very useful in small cap companies.

Sounds like Berenberg are up to 16moz in their estimations from that article…still open in all directions.

Hopefully, but with a starting price of £22k I can’t see how we’d get much for it. Maybe the JV can be along the lines of being free carried to feasibility study or production before we need to fund anything. Would be happy to take no cash if the other company offered that. Don’t like mining unfriendly places. Too dodgy.

Anyone know if there is even a production plant there or we will need to build that too? Danglay was well before I invested.

Hmmm…strange development indeed. I was hoping to free ride our 25% or at least only partially fund the Philippines project till production. I mean you can’t say no to 45% for £22k but what does it mean for us going forward now. Would have been a good source of income without much work if someone else had taken it on.

Personally I don’t like jurisdictions that are not “Tier1”. We’re already busy on multiple fronts with a lot of work needed everywhere in Australia already. This just adds to that.

Interview soon would be appreciated and I think after this now, it’s needed! Don’t like having too many pies to cook. The company oven isn’t that big yet.

It’s never about the SP’s Freddie. It’s about Mcap and the Market caps of both companies is only £100m difference. They are just two different stories. Stories take time. Some longer than others and that’s the key with GGP. It’s just a short story compared to Solgold’s Alexander Dumas type novel.

Solgold got to 40p for the first time in March 2017! Would love to see how our resident “moaning/impatient” mob here would be coping after being in the red for 5 years over there ;-)
