Just a couple of examples of other miners/explorers during this turbulent 18 months. They’re all roughly numbers over the last year or so. Yes, you can find ones that went up too, but not many. GGP’s fall is enhanced due to the fact that we had a much bigger rise than nearly all of the others, hence the higher you go, the further you fall. Even Rio haven’t been safe. Both Aussie and London based companies here. Just random examples of some of the companies I follow: (drops are obviously multi-faceted with various reasons for each but the overall sector and market last 12-24months is similar for everyone)

Great Boulder - 1.7 to 0.7
Orosur - 13 to 8.62
Vast - 2.3 to 0.7

Some of these are in dollars and pounds so bear in mind the drop seems smaller but the mcaps equally or even more affected regardless of percentage drop. (Solgold the only one that seems to have avoided the current crazy days - go figure :-)

Hopefully, the tide will turn sooner rather than later (fingers crossed) lol

If we’re a sitting duck, then so are nearly every other explorer, producer currently in the sector…and also it won’t come from anyone other than Newcrest due to Telfer. If Newcrest start buying us up, the share price will rapidly escalate and it would cost them a fortune, of which they don’t currently have, going by the lack of dividends they paid and the unhappiness of their shareholders too. Shaun has built a proper team and they are digging in for the long haul…(and I don’t believe they’ll bother with a low ball offer for the whole of us)

Freddie, if you’re still buying then you have to stop complaining, otherwise you’ll drive yourself round the bend. You can’t blame the rampers now.

Good discussions yesterday about the value of Havieron and in turn GGP with many viewpoints. Personally, I think we forgot another of SD’s favourite words - “leverage” - once a steady income from Havieron is sorted for x amount of years…that’s when Shaun’s fun begins. That profit/income can be used as collateral for Shaun to start the development and expanded growth of GGP in “his” way. I bet he can’t wait and neither can I.

Well today is stinging a bit, kinda feels like the morning after a large vindaloo. World is going crazy at the minute and we’re in the middle of what seems like a massive ****-storm.

Shaun HAS to, and I mean HAS TO have the “fully funded” RNS/statement at the same time as the 5%. It’s the only thing I think will put a definitive line in the sand for us and maybe end this ridiculous downtrend.

Hey Redirons, I think it’s harder to make comparisons with companies in different jurisdictions. There’s too many extenuating circumstances that play a role in the whole development. Plus the fact they found their ore body like over ten years ago. A lot has changed since then. DEG (ASX) timeline beginning is pretty much exactly the same as ours. Also, lots of power struggles over at Solgold too from what I’ve heard and read.

Although, a 1% sell to Franco Nevada for $100m wouldn’t go amiss from Shaun Day here :-)

De Grey Mining is a lovely parallel to GGP. Both ore bodies were found at relatively the same time, with both companies having a massive rise in 2020. Difference between the two companies I think is merely the JV. They also seem to be at a “that” certain point in the Lassonde Curve so it will be good to keep an eye on them and how they go about getting to production. We are further along the path and will be quicker to production in my eyes, but they look like they’re gonna try and go it alone. Will be a very interesting company to keep an eye out for comparisons down the line.

Could still get a GGP rns on Monday…market not closed here. Also, I find very doubtful that part 2 of Bottle’s interview will have any sensitive info on it. Bad practice to give an interviewer sensitive info and telling him to sit on it. Who’s to say he wouldn’t just text one person :-) I mean, he’d have to probably sign an NDA also. Looking forward to it Bottle :-)

I like the way Shaun always talks about being “fully funded” when talking about the resolution of the 5%. It either means he expects the 5% to cover it or he has finance ready with it once it is resolved. He’s said that a few times now.

Crazy days. Not much more one can say about the SP that’s not already been said to death. We sit and wait for SD and Havieron to do their thing. My only gripe about SD over the 18 months he’s been in charge is the lack of news (or rather zero news) on any other tenement. I think that’s been poorly handled all round. Surely not all the staff are totally bogged down with work on Havieron. I do feel something could have been started/arranged for all these other tenements of ours.

Am surprised at the backlash regarding it being a underwhelming interview. Clearly it was way below what anyone wanted and even expected. It’s fine to argue a point guys but let’s not get blinkered. There was literally nothing new in that interview and it seems the market didn’t like it either. We need substantial news now that moves us forward, not the usual potential spiel. It was not a good interview unfortunately. Still happy to hold and will give AH at least 6-12 months to prove himself.

And once again, SD uses our favourite words…

“Multi-asset, multi-billion”…and of course “multi-factorial”

In terms of what AH said, I’m a bit underwhelmed too. Prospects all look good but he seemed to tell us that Craig Brown had basically been wasting all our time with everything he was doing and planning (lol) - and also seems like Adam is doing everything, so we could have made Adam CEO.

Will listen to it again tonight but I didn’t think there was anything new or substantial from AH. Feels like he could of done this same interview a month ago when he started. He basically said everything looks alright but we need to start again and just drill. Feels like we’re going back to square one and the “drill-bit” and these last 2/3/4 years were pointless.

Potential still there as the owned tenements are in fantastic places, like he said, “location, location, location” but I hope they get the finger out a little more than just this. This to me has now gone from a potentially “quick to production” company which was what was being sold by Craig Brown to just another small explorer hoping to hit something. Least we got still got our own rigs I suppose. Need proper drill results now with lengths and grades.

Still no “hello” from the new man in charge? Taking their sweet time about it are they not? Been nearly a month now. I know most companies don’t like Monday news, so hopefully it will be tomorrow. Getting silly now. A simple hello and info would have sufficed.

People need to stop talking or worrying about NCM taking over Havieron. There has never been any talk from either side about it and SD couldn’t be more clearer when he says “he wants to go mining” - we are going mining people…deal with it ;-)

This I find quite funny. We all think AIM is bent in some way, and we’ve even mentioned moving to the ASX or at least dual listing. However…go to the Hotcopper boards and you’ll find them complaining about the same thing and saying that ASX companies should dual list on AIM cos it’s less corrupt :-) all fun and games really…at the end of the day, life is merely perspective and politics…

All I want from the 5% Shaun is around $123m please…sorts out the $50m loan and the $73m capex…after that, we chill till production…a little extra to go a-digging would be fine too if you really fancy having a go at Newcrest :-)

Don’t forget guys…GGP’s pathway to production is like a Stephen King short story…(scary ride but you get to the finale quickly) Solgold is like a Moby Dick style novel…no matter how long you’ve been reading it, you’re still only at the start and often give up to start again years later ;-)
