scully - two points - i read your posts and am aware of your state entry date.

my suggestion to new investors to read posts from both sides of the debate to me is sensible.

scully - reso has been posting on the ast board for a considerable time and has debated with many lth's.

his views have not changed, sometimes you just have to accept that not everyone is a believer.

if i were new to ast having bought in over the last few days i would look to understand why some long term posters maintain their views.

does anyone have a view as to when this will bottom out - seems to be in free fall.

h -hi - agreed i take on board all posting views but it was last calls need to dominate all bb's that was frustrating.

alwaysup - maybe CH was boxed into a corner by:
- lack of oermits
- well production problems
- shareholder vote to prevent further placings

production figures look grim.

in may when well pg 11a was closed down, well pg- 10 produced 1066,975 cubic metres. which was already falling from apl, production.

now in july with pg 11a " shut in for prolonged periods, most production again came from well pg 10, but this is now down to 816,490 cubic metres.

we knew there were considerable problems with well pg11a, but the fall off in production levels from pg 10 are concerning.

be very interesting to see how pg 10 performs in aug..- long gone are the early revenue expectations from nov /dec 2017.production returns.

maybe too much focus was placed by the co. on the IPPC permt. month on month revenues are required to pay the bills, particularly as shareholders blocked further placings to avoid more dilution. perhaps, the production problems on top of everything else was just to much for CH to deal with, it is clear that the permits to re stimulate were clearly becoming an issue from early spring.

many questions need to be answered at tomorrows conference call.

does anyone know how long full re work of the two wells would likely take, assuming the stimulation permits were forthcoming in "timely fashion"

Some good buys on the dip earlier today, looks like it will close , close to 34p.

Compass007- see you are back in - welcome back - are you looking to hold all the way back up to £3.00 this time round or circa £2.60, as per your last time in STOB.

BTW trading out at £2.59 and buying back in at £2.21, looks good business by you.

I am sticking with STOB for the long term divs, but as i've mentioned - all my shares in here are on a free carry, bit lucky really i guess.

Last Call - you been suspended ??

Scully - your call sun ( 18.34 & mine in response to yours sun ( 19.35 ) - think we both called it about right.

I was surprised that there were a few largish buy ins at 0.83 / 0.84 / 0.85.

Now locked in by the spread for the time being - its reading 13.33% at the moment now they have just pushed the ask up. May be a little tighter, in reality, i haven't down any dummy buys and sells.

It's a sit and wait kind of day today imv, many who have bought in are waiting for good news from CH in the conference call tomorrow, i don't expect he will be in a position to say too much, but the remaining day traders will be hanging on his every word.

Not sure there will be too much news in Aug, - i maybe wrong, we will see.

scully - you are prob right - a fair number of the day traders who bought in on the thurs news will have moved on with a bag on fri.

there will have been a fair no. of lth's who averaged down on the news on thurs too - most of them may possibly have held depending on their new average.

most of the sells on fri must most likely have been for a quick profit, why would anyone still under water sell out on the latest news.

however most that bought in on fri are prob 5 -10 % under - taking the spread into consideration, and will be thoughtful.

hopefully the conference call will give clarity.

not sure how long any newbies will hang on in there if there is no news for say 2/3 weeks.

the sp needs a strong start tomorrow, as if it starts to drift downwards i see the remaining day traders closing out.

with a strong day tomorrow most will stay to se what CH has to say.

last call - of course not, i don't post actual sp predictions, no need to imv.

often when people make ramptistic posts on bb's i see them as unsure of their call on a share and that they are looking for the conformation from others for re assurance. or perhaps they are day traders in an out for a profit.

its rare for holders of a share to predict a fall in my experience usually those predicting a fall and giving a actual sp figure are holding short positions, or are looking for a lower entry point.

often though posters, have different views on a particular share, that's natural, on occasions these discussions can get out of hand with neither poster wishing to give way.

i tend to post observations, as i see them.

i sometimes post when i buy in, to a share, or when i top slice, or get out.

to me all factual info and views are useful. however we all have the ability to study the markets, read rns, review websites, understand geo -political influences, and fiscal decisions etc.

but we are never to old to learn and all views should be considered.

if we were all the same and all had the same views it would probably be a very boring old world.

i have enjoyed your posting debates, on various bb's, with many different posters, it gives an insight into human nature.

people take many differing views, that's life, i might take a differing view on a particular share to you wouldn't necessarily make me a bad person though.
