Hi Volcano - no I had bucket loads on today. Have re shuffled a second hol this year and rolled it over too next year. Also looking at the various options i have on a property I have down in the west country. Thinking of selling up once covid is over. Trying to make life simple now I have retired.

Got a bike ride in this morning before it got too hot out there.

I got in and out over on CPI yesterday but unlike you I waited for the us open, thought I'd pick up another penny or two. Too greedy lol. Think you did well over there.

Thurs should be fun here. Like most shares where there is an announcement on an equity raise one or two newbies have appeared with sp predictions. To be expected.

Spent part of the afternoon reading the SIG bb, its funding comes 9/ 10 th July. One or two familiar posters over there. Interesting, and illuminating.

2Reincarnated - think everyone is hoping for the sp to fall, sub issue price, then with increased trading volatility short term trading opportunities should be available for one and all. Getting my pennies ready.

I'd urge caution in suggesting STOB survive here,on this bb in the long term. It might be seen as slightly too optimistic, and could be frowned on !

Slightly off topic. Raising cash early in this pandemic ' ie getting in line early, could in hindsight be better than utilising CCFF, then joining the equity raise queue, in 6 - 12 months time.

For me plan for the worst., Administration, it's better to be negative here.

I do have a couple of positives to your comments, and some additional negatives to confirm some ot your thoughts.

That said I'll leave any counter discussions, to anyone who wishes to respond on glass half full basis

Have no wish to lift any doom am gloom on here. It's now up to others to take up that cause.

As I said lets see what they raise, info out Thurs I believe. Have administration as the default position, "plan for the worst" in these challenging times.

Two scenarios here :
1 - STOB fails to get the minimum fundraising of £80m across the line, and it moves towards Administration. Moni will be dancing for joy.

2 - It secures £80m - £100m and has time to recover and continue it's fight to beat Covid 19 and return to health with a whole new tranche of shares being held lower levels, with likely short term trading opportunities. However a word of caution ! Moni will remain here hovering sucking the blood out of any positive or glass half full posts.

With all positivity banned if you do decide on an entry point, you'll not be able to express your interest nor discuss any thoughts with others. Or offer up any news or info. Feel free to try it !

These are dark times in STOBville, the Dark Lord Moni ( heart ) rules supreme.

There is no way back to the light here on this bb, of the two scenarios, I'll take No 1 - administration, its far preferable to another 12 - 18 months of darkness doom and gloom.

There's you with you £160,000 agenda. Agreed you and I don't see eye to eye. Perhaps it goes back to me being one of those urging caution on FLYB, perhaps it goes back further.

Then there is TF - he has posted today with his position.

Sandyman - his first few posts don't suggest he is in yet. Though I do agree with him on his view on the US markets and the need to tread carefully over coming months.

Then apart from the above, a couple of others with no real firm positions either way.

Well I guess you do my friend, it didn't work out too well fir you on FLYB. Surely people, make their own judgements based on their personal research.

FLYB remains relevant here. The FLYB administrator has indicated that the Connect Consortium, will potentially receive a % of their investment back based on how the original deal was structured, and secured.

Now we have Media reports on the statement by the Cyrus Capital advisor Johathan Peachley concerning Flybe.

moni - our first posts to each other on here were when I initially bought in at £1.00. Many moons ago.

It was fortunate timing, for me, when the spike in the sp allowed me to create a free carry. Over the last 3 years STOB has tended to move around on a daily basis, providing day trade opportunities. I agree with you the previous quarterly divs from the sale of non core assets could have been used to fund cap ex. But the BOD at the time decided on throwing divs at LTH's. That was very much a Tinkler strategy. Though generous you know from our past discussion he was not a favourite of mine, and I'm far more comfortable with the present structure of the BOD

Am not sure that many people follow this bb, probably less than 20 people post here regularly, maybe lower than that.

Who are this band of people ?

TF - agree, only a few days to see the outcome of the fundraise.

Then it will be interesting to see TR 1's to see what actions the large institutional holders have taken.

STOB mentioned that the ongoing plan is to clear out the Rail & Civils Division. Then to monetise the Energy Division to provide value to shareholders. With the long term future focus placed on Southend.

Unlike others I tend not to make sp predictions. In the short term, the aviation sector, is very much in the hands of the virus, and how Govt's deal with it. A second or third wave would nit be helpful for the sector.

I'd suspect STOB will be expecting to get the Energy Division, back up towards pre covid levels, within the next few months.

Moni - you'll not never buy here, your only agenda is based on your £160,000 loss on your punt on FLYB. Many lost over there, I felt for those LTH's who suffered, though you loss was down to your £200k punt.

This is of course the STOB board, but FLYB, and the Connect t/o does have relevance both to the write down in the STOB accounts, it certainly has relevance to you as it's why you post here.

Nobody likes to see people lose money which is why I have held off mentioning you mis step on FLYB for over 17 months.

However, recently in your posts here you seem to be taking huge pleasure in mentioning potential paper losses that LTH's sitting on atm.

Generally your posts are directed at me, I accept that. But as you know I don't place any value on my STOB shares, as they are on a free carry. STOB doesn't owe me anything but that's not the case for others here. Some might feel that, your negative posts are based on an agenda.

All said and done, our thoughts on here will have little or no impact, on the long term outcome for STOB.

Moni - you punted £200k on FLYB at the end of Nov 18. Ramped it continuously for 42 days trying to dig yourself out of a hole.

You got chatting to guys like Scully123 over there, who on many bb's gambled on high risk situations.

You clearly had a conviction that it would co e good for you but it didn't.

You were not the only one caught out, by the Connect t/o others lost too, but whilst not being happy about it do seem to have found al level of acceptance which has passed you by.

There are many easy targets in many sectors, and many Companies are in challenging situations.

I'll wait for matters to settle down and look for the TR 1's in early July, to see how the major stakeholders have reacted here.

Perhaps if you could get a buy in here on any future dips you may find an opportunity to recover some of your FLYB losses.

But you know and I know you' ll never buy a single STOB share my friend.

Just taking to 1,000,000 FLYB shares you mention in your post over there on the 30th Nov 18 @ an average of 20p.

You immediately got locked in and finally sold for 4p - costing you £160,000.

No amount of ramps got you out of your hole.

The announcement on the 11th Jan 19 was a total shock to you.

Your emotions over there went from shock, to disbelief, to anger, to revenge.

Regrettably you have never been able to move through the process to a level of acceptance. That's the place you need to find my friend.

But it all went horribly wrong for you, by :

4th Dec FLYB had dropped to 18.05
6th Dec FLYB had dropped to 17.05
Later on the 6th Dec it was down to 15.25.

You got locked in and though you ramped it daily ( over 200 posts ) until the Connect Announcement on the 11th Jan 19, when you dumped all your shares for 4p - your post 11/01/19 ( 09.10 ) confirms.

You lost over £160,000 as you fell into the trap of believing your own hype about multi bids.

You blame STOB Branson and Cyrus.

It's not generally in my nature to lay things bare, but it's only fair to this bb to remind you that you provided the FLYB bb with the number of your share buy in's back in Nov 18. You later confirmed your sell out.

TF - agreed we have had many a robust and fair chat on here on the pros and cons of STOB.

I felt the abuse thrown at you over on ESL was, and still is unnecessary. It is to your credit how you have dealt with matters over there.I was happy to defend your position as I feel you have the right of things.

How short is Moni's memory his ramps on Flybe there for all to see. Particularly from around 23rd Nov 18 - through the news of the Connect deal. Details of his buy ins, his crazy predictions, are all there to read. His posts from 23 - 30/ 11/ 18 on FLYB are particularly useful in judging why, he is hurting, his purchases and predictions are there in black and white. If anyone cares to look be prepared for ramp after ramp after ramp.

I fully agree I have an interest in the ongoing progress in both the Energy Division and Southend Airport. If you find any of my posts boring - why read the? you can simply filter me and your problem is solved, is it not.

You have suggested in the past that I have ramped STOB relentlessly, but you know that a review of my posting history will reveal that i'm merely positive on both projects. I believe I only posted twice when STOB moved up and over £2 and nothing for the short time when it peaked at £3. I'd estimate only posted here perhaps around 10 times in say 3 years ( emm very rampy lol ).

I believe my posts here were quite limited here, until, your continued negative posts following your crazy ramping of FLYB during the period when it was put up for sale. Your ramping sp predictions over there were laughable. 20p turned into 30p, within a day or do you were up to 40p, then 50p, quickly moving up to 80p, before topping out at £1.

You lost money over there as you believed, there would be a bidding war for FLYB. You pressed the buy button over there, you got carried away. It was your decision not mine. You will always look to find a scapegoat for your error of judgement, as you cant except you called it wrong. Blame STOB and me if it helps, but it will change nothing.

The other thing you cant change is both of our posting histories. Its there in black an white, frustrating isn't it.

haven't traded today, been busy, got given a whole load of chores to do at home today.

It's been a strong day for almost all of my holdings so just sitting tight.

I came into the week thoughtful as to what would happen to my NG. Shares with it reporting it's finals. I was wondering if they hit on a bad day it might go sub £9.00 - but no it's up again today along with most of the market. Happy days.

Both directed at me but without any cogent discussion on STOB.

Checked your listing history elsewhere and this tends to be the way of it with your good self.

Forgive me for parking you to one side., If I may, on the basis that you don't have to read my posts , that's an option you have taken up, and it's just not my problem, my friend.

That said I'lll happily debate any evenly balanced thoughts you have on STOB.

Please be clear Moni has an agenda with STOB, and I'll call him out each and every time.

Feel free to look back over my past posts, I chat about progress within the Energy Division and Southend Airport, which has been a massive infrastructure development, which has required substantial cap ex, and is ongoing. Taking a positive view on two projects should not be mixed or confused with ramping, that's a Moni tactic.

I'm personally happy with my past trades on STOB, I've always top sliced here, so STOB owes me nothing. I purely want to see both projects progress.

Moni simply despises STOB, he always will, it's sad that someone would wish to see a company fail with all the damage to employees stakeholders and others business that rely on it. But that's Moni for you.

Moni ( Dr Evil ) is clearly having one of his more uncomfortable evenings.

Think i may have knocked back his tenuous recovery with my last post.

Not sure how Moni would react to a full re opening at Southend. ( to add to the progress back to pre covid times for the Energy Division ). I guess when it does eventually re open and volumes of passengers recover it will be a very dark day in Moni's life !

But for that to come to pass, people need to be taking flights again for business and holidays. RYA and EZJ would have to get their operations up and running.

We'd have to had to have made further progress on beating the virus, with hopefully many future lives being saved.

Many people's jobs both at the airport but also within the wider airline industry would have been saved. Many families suffering worry and financial concerns may get to see light at the end of the tunnel.

But none of those positives, would alleviate, the pain and misery that Moni would suffer.

Gosh its a conundrum - we have to weigh the jobs and hopes of all employed in the airline sector, involved with any company linked to Southend. The joy of those taking breaks in the sun, against the angst that Moni would suffer.

Its a tough call folks.

For anyone who doesn't know and is just looking in, our Moni, ramped and ramped FLYB then lost his shirt on the Connect T/O. He despises Branson, Cyrus, STOB, and pops in regularly, it's part of his self recovery programme. You'd have hoped that as time moves on he'd find a way to get over matters.

But regrettably its a no, he continues to despise STOB, and will do to his dying day. It eats him up, every day that STOB exists, chips away at him. But if it gives him some comfort then perhaps a regular negative post on here, may help him in some small way.
