Volcano - they are still chewing over the US jobs figures for June on Bloomberg, had loads of guests on and the only thing clear to me, is opinion remains divided. Bulls and Bears out in force today.

Compass - in hindsight over on TLW, when it ran up from 9p - 36p recently, I traded it 8 times, and it would have far easier if I'd put it in and left it for a few weeks. I was in an out and missed some of the rally, lots more work and decisions for me, than many others over there.

What we do know is there has only been the Tosca TR 1 so there should be at least 3 more maybe 4. Hopefully one each day the we'll know where the major investors stand.

More news to some here over coming days.

Good strong blue day to drop the results into.

I sat on my hands this morning, and missed the bottom here. I got 2.84 back on the 14th May and it ran up nicely from there giving me an out at 3.23 on the 12th June. Only recently its bee running higher.

My only concern, which didn't stop me last time, are the debt levels. If sub 2.90 comes my way again here I think I'll get in again, but at the moment I've missed the boat here.

Hi Vlocano - good to see you got a trade in too today.

I bought in yesterday afternoon - expecting firm news on the Air Bridges, and the likelihood of positive TR 1's. Wondering whether I closed my trade too early, but hey ho - profit is profit, got 5.6% , it's very helpful not having to pay stamp duty here.

Healthy Returns - agree the £40m additional commitment from Tosca, shows positive support here, doubt very much that they took any notice of anything posted here. But I guess I'll soon be accused of providing them with "financial advice " by a particular poster !!

More TR 1's to come - so am looking for another trading entry here. Also holding strong with my long term shares.

Btw for openness I've just closed out my trade from yesterday for a decent return. I still hold my long term "free carry" shares, and will continue to look for opportunities here.

Tosca holdings RNS out.

Previously they held circa 77.1m shares, before the cash raise. For which they bought in at a considerably higher sp.

Now publishing their holding at 27.97% of the new increased shares ( 625m ) which by my rough calculations gives them a new holding of circa 174.8m shares.

Looks like they invested an additional 100m shares in the raise.

Expect them to have a strategy here to create long term value for their Investors, from this latest investment in STOB, that's a big move.

Moni - you know I bought big several years ago at £1.00 we disagreed on my buy in around then, I then top sliced in the mid £1.50's

I've traded STOB many times, mostly between £1.00 - £1.15, though a couple of times at £1.60, and more recently at lower levels.But your memory fails you again my friend, yes I have been glass half full here, but it's not my modus operandi to chuck out sp predictions. There is a difference between being positive than making recommendations either to buy, or in your case to sell.

STOB did rise to £3 for a while, I didn't buy on that run up, I reduced at £2.20 and took a couple of trades off the table. I don't recall recommending you to buy at £3 do you ?

If we are going to start off again on ramps and recommendations I'll have to come back at you and remind you of your 200+ posts on FLYB when you got yourself in a massive hole over there, that's ramping is it not in its purist form. Just when I felt we were starting to get on a little better you go and ruin it, my friend, which is s bit of a shame.

I don't process to be a financial adviser, nor do I believe in recommendations, people make up their own minds.

Hi TF - yes re reduced bank debt. There is a full breakdown of how the fund raise is being utilised and details of the repayment of facility B, together with, planned short term and medium term outgoings, and the initial reduction in facility A, within the prospectus - it's all there in the 4th June rns.

TF - agree at CLDA STOB very much had their eye on the total acreage they picked up. I've not looked into the ongoing development of Eden Park, as its only a minor asset, in the great scheme of things.

E_AL and Sami, whilst the focus here is on Southend, with the airline sector, very much in the news atm. STOB is not a one trick pony, and once construction, and waste disposal gets back to pre covid levels, then the Energy Division revenues will return to previous levels.

It's worth remembering that in previous years, STOB has required high levels of capex in both its main divisions, to develop the projects, this is not the case for the current trading year, as detailed in the prospectus.

hg.sami - you raise valid points, in your discussion with Moni.

You are quite right to direct him towards the detailed info in the prospectus, in relation to both the cashflow break downs and break even calculations provided for the Energy Division and Southend.

Regrettably, i very much doubt Moni will have wished to read through the document, why would he ?

Moni is not here looking for an entry level, he remains anti STOB, and probably always will be, its a free country, and he has an equal right to post his negative views, though I doubt you'll be able to draw him into a balanced discussion, its far easier for him to throw out low sp predictions. In truth, during these challenging times, it's a position that can be presented for discussion.

Where ever the sp sits and the short term, the fact remains that STOB has raised its cash.

Markets will grab onto any news like the preliminary Pfizer results, out today.

Small numbers in the trial, but very positive results.

US futures have pared today's declines, atm and the FTSE 100 has bounced back through 6170, in just a half hour.

It remains very volatile out there.

TF - I understood that Southend provides a low cost base for operators.

Agree Healthy Returns, pressure continues to ramp up on the UK Govt.

Surely Boris must still have a copy of his Election Manifesto that he can dust down. Govt. ducked support to save Flybe. Sure he said he was keen on inter regional connectivity.

Still STOB have their cash, which is great as we can continue to chat on here as things bumble along.

Events are fast moving atm, wonder if the Institutional Investors had factored that in when they committed to the recent fund raise.

E_AL - Much of the reduction in the Invesco position in the RNS is covered by the effects of the increased no. of shares causing dilution.

I believe before the the additional shares came to market Invesco held circa 44.7m shares (11.35 % in old money )

If they had done nothing their % holding should have dropped to around 7.15%, looks like they may have off loaded about 2.5m - with an actual holding now around 41.75m. Would expect them to be long term sellers.

Difficult to up sell the EZJ hub news, though they say they will be retaining the routes, emmm.

"For sale" - one lovely newly refurbished shinny airport, only just run in ! lol

Bonkers Bert - yep got a nice trade on the 12th June, closed out a few days later for a decent profit.

Will continue to keep an eye out fir a decent entry level.

Think the HFD results due out on the 7th with hopefully some data on Apl - June trading period will provide an indication of the reality for many retailers in trading through this difficult time.

Volcano - yep like the appt. of Clive Condie loads of experience.

Turning to the data, like many who have posted across many BBC's i don't see a v shaped recovery. Think we are looking at a "winter of discontent ". Many bumps on the road, coming our way. Many Co's will be raising cash to deal with the impact of the virus.

Feel all we can do is trade, daily on sentiment, in the more volatile shares whilst keeping an eye out for undervalued quality shares, for the longer term.

Volcano - not today, saw you got your price over on EMG.

Keeping an eye on the HFD, waiting for its results, next week, good, bad or neutral, they could give an indication of how some retailers have dealt with the virus so far, particularly if info on Apl - June period is included. May have a knock on effect on a couple of others I have been trading.

News out over on RDI where I am still holding - had to average down in May, but am back in profit again.

LCC's had a good day, but anything could happen in the airline sector day by day.

Volcano - suspect a fair chunk of the raise went the way of Institutional Investors. They are unlikely to be selling sub 40p.

There have been a number of large trades, so its possible that the shortfall shares under the open offer may have been snaffled up from the underwriters by Institutionals, as well.

A few days of shares passing hands and we'll see a clearer picture. We need those TR1's to appear.

Lets see how it pans out.

Last Thurs - 25th June, you felt Card was a strong buy at 48.50, and a bargain with you setting a target at £1.00 +

Everyone, has the option to reconsider their views, and I have no problem with your change of heart here.

Would you mind me asking what it was that changed your view here, was it something specific ?
