Be careful extrapolating P/E from cashflow, don't forget that ongoing development costs will have most of HUR's cash going straight back into the ground for many years yet. And that being the case, the amounts offset against the tax credits will last a very long time.

Just a snippet from Tue that may be of interest to the debate higher up the thread. RT mentioned that in FB you couldn't really use resistivity logs (I think due to overbalance/leakage into fractures) so had to infer data using other measures/techniques . All cutting edge stuff apparently, but over my head, as is much of the aduk/F22 and others posts on here.

I think you can rely on AS, he was very assured and capable at the AGM this year. Wher5e RT was in his element at the Royal Geo Soc on Tuesday, AS will be in his element at CMD.

They have to issue a "cleansing " RNS prior to meeting, else they could not present any new info. We know that they will be presenting such, bcos they have said so.

So RNS by 11am.

I am pretty sure the next shallower , well on there will flow, but there mb some reduction in the resource. Wait and see.

RTwas v careful with the cmd upcoming but he was very relaxed, v confident, a man at the top of his profession speaking to a peer group. Different a tad to at agm.

He was v confident in the Lancaster modelling, but batted away an attempt to ask for comparison to Warwick.
WD gave me a few collywobbles re potential read across to EPS, and tho he didn't address that directly I was reassured that Lancaster was much better understood.
A lot of geology/drilling info rather over my head but clearly cutting edge stuff. They have to drill over balanced bcos of fractures: unlike conventional, if you hit a large fracture and lose large amount of mud your well is in trouble if u r not overbalanced.

Overall, despite not being my subject, it was a v interesting and well delivered lecture. RT in fine form and definitely not a man with any worries over his project. Hopefully tomorrows CMD will give us more facts but I managed a snatched few words in passing and he seemed to be relishing the CMD, which would not be the case if there were any serious geological concerns.

My reply from IR said they would provide "full coverage" of the event, which must I think mean incl the Q&A.
I presume that should be live but again hur have as yet given no details of how or when to access this.

I do try not to be critical, but this is really not good enough.

It's a shame the latest rns was so terse, if had been more in the style of this one, with a host of positive indicators, I'm sure we would all be more encouraged.

Agree with your post in most respects with reservations.
Personally, the "poorly connected section of the fracture network" gives me more concern than it does yiu; without clarification it raises doubts in my mind, and has raised the risk profile here.

WWN, I agree. It seems very likely there were some sort of similar issues to Halifax, which was neverthe4less a huge discovery.
Bear in mind tho the title "Warwick DEEP". Assuming they have git the reservoir, it will be the first time on any of the FB fields they have found it outside structural closure, which is potentially very significant for future recoverable volumes across all the fields.
And, Warwick has a second, higher, well already planned this summer, so flow tests can be done then ; with the pressure and other data from this well, one would anticipate a different drilling regime on well no 2.

We are all speculating, of course, and hopefully an RNS will put us out of our misery soon. But like ADUK, I'm looking forward to it, and don't see it as the negative some here appear to do.

daltry, I think Wulbert was only trying to beg for clarity instead of vagueness, I quite understand his point ; not sure why you would find it so upsetting?

We all fall into these speech patterns from time to time, until someone points it out we don't notice it.....I've certainly been guilty.

This is a technical presentation to professional geos, in the main, tho no doubt the industry will be taking a keen interest.

I imagine Dr T will studiously avoid any reference to current developments, beyond perhaps a wry smile here and there.
