US airlines all tanked on poor Q1 guidance from DAL so I expect it's that. I naively thought low oil prices would be good for airlines. Unfortunately, the rout in US equities is affecting us all, as ever. Our only hope is peace in Ukraine, which I pray happens to stop the killing first and foremost.

US airline stocks are seriously tanking in after market trading due to poor Q1 guidance by DAL citing macro economic issues affecting demand. Expect a big fall here tomorrow. A really disappointing end to an exciting period for IAG shareholders. I guess it's back to the waiting game. This time next year!

Let's hope the market begins to recognise that green hydrogen is still going to be a significant feature in the future energy mix, Ade. Are you jumping ship from AFC to invest here?

At least they have more money so should be able to survive longer than AFC during which time there might be a turnaround and electrolysers could become all the rage! I think we could be in a lower oil price environment for an extended period. Could explain the reduction in the short positions.

Once there's peace in Ukraine travelling will ramp up another notch, including to the USA!

Oil is down a lot helped by stronger cable and there's a real prospect of peace in Ukraine and with Germany abandoning it's borrowing restrictions we may even get growth in Europe. Also, despite the doomster analysts wishing it to be so, air travel is continuing to boom as IAG's recent results showed. It's a pity so many are selling into the rise though.
