I imagine we'll get an update on the TRIN deal being off on Wednesday. Question is whether they will provide an update on Casc. Hopefully an 'everything on track and first gas flows expected XX.XX'. Should give the sp a nice nudge before the big news. Either way we're into October in a week. Not long now.

Well they're certainly not f@cking about with the BBs. They just dropped over £100k in picking up over 80k shares. Impressive. I've just bought another 4750 at 130p. Will continue to add at these levels. Bizarre sp given they have already stated they will hit broker expectations, which is +15% YoY in Revenue and EBITDA. Interest rates are being aggressively cut. And they're aggressively buying back stock. Maybe the next set of results will be the catalyst we need.

Also, anyone who has bought in over the past three years would be selling for a maximum 15% profit. Majority would be in the red if buying in since this time 2021. When it moves, it will fast. Next stop will be the 175-200p channel.

unbelievably **** timing for a t/o offer to land. poo negativity is highest in god knows how long. and aeco is close to zero. rival cash bid at 14p would win right now. fingers crossed we get one. that would be an extra £60k for me.

Yep still holding but mentioned in a previous post that I've sold some. Now down to 3m and will continue to hold this amount until the end. Two reasons, first is a rival bid can come in. And second is the current t/o offer value is circa 13p. The vote is more likely to succeed than fail and the sp will move to less than 5% of the offer value. So around 12.5p. More upside and value can be squeezed this way imo. That extra 0.5p is worth £15k to me.

I don't think it's ever going to 20p fellas. There's going to be more dilution and in order to hit that number you're looking at £500m mcap minimum. Maybe half that when up and running in 5 years at the earliest. Still an 8x isn't to be sniffed at, even if it takes 5 years.

just taken a punt for 2m shares. not expecting much downside. but for those of you who think this is going to 20p, you need to do a bit of research in the realms of reality. you also need to keep in mind that when the deal closes there's going to be a **** ton of shares issued at 1.25p. there's a lock-in, but it will always act as an anchor. with a new acquisition, finance news, and something along the lines of existing infrastructure being able to be utilised, then yes it could be multiples from here. but we're talking more like 3-5p, and not 20p. when the new shares are printed this still puts you up near £100m mcap, which is big for a non-producer. aimho gla

They have said hook-up would be before the end of Q3, so in the next 2 weeks. Question is whether they will provide any update / guidance on what has been achieved before we get flow rates. No room for them to f@ck things up after their little TRIN adventure.

i think we'll get a slingshot effect on the sp, but only if they demonstrate a better understanding of casc. we've got 3 weeks for this to happen if they hit guidance. i understand there may have been time constraints on the offer, but equally we don't know this for sure. and i'd still have waited, as we could be able to make a better offer (for us) with casc success, and not wasted time and money when it should have been focused on casc. either way the ****show is over and they now have nothing other than casc to pursue. we're into the final countdown now. gla

Not saying we shouldn't have made a bid. I'm saying we should have waited until Casc was sorted and then negotiated from a position of strength. The conversion probably would have been lower as well. He f@cked up by jumping too soon. He now needs to make amends because if he f@cks up Casc then we'll be in a much worse position than if we never made a bid at all. If that happens he and our bloated bod should be held to account.

No more TRIN questions. Waste of time and money. But it does focus our !diot bod on the only thing that matters - Casc. Had they not bid on TRIN until after we get results they could have made the deal a lot easier. TRIN bod are f@cking clowns, but so are we for going after them at this juncture. Having said this, if we get hook-up and forecast flow rates we are going to be just fine. And we won't have the added dilution from any TRIN shareholders. Lower share count means greater gains in the success case. Mgt need to deliver now.

Biggest driver is poo. But HBR is getting punished far more than others given their solid fundamentals. The reason for this imo is being UK listed. The best way for HBR to respond to any further tax grabs from the government is to clearly state they will cease investment in UK waters, they will downsize their UK workforce, and re-list in the US. They can then point out how much money the government will make from their punitive taxes, and how much they will lose. Major companies need to spell out to the government what they will do should the tax environment worsen still. And they should be very vocal with the media on the reasons, and point out that we will have less tax $s, greater greenhouse emissions from the foreign O&G we import, and will be propping up some of the worst regimes in the world. They need to go nuclear with the government. And do it together. Get BP or Shell on board and make a simple, yet clear case on the consequences. F'cking m@ronic government we have here.

Half point cut good for companies with debt fuelled growth, like us. Will also be very supportive for poo once the market realises the economy isn't tanking. And then there's Israel doing what they do. Will be interesting the next few days / weeks. GLA

I picked up another 15k sub 130p today. Sitting on 165k total now. If we stay down here or drop more I'll continue to add. It's an absolute no-brainer this one. Reckon we'll see +30-50% in the next 12 months.

Off topic from calling Majid a c@nt (which he is), where did people's thoughts end up on other O&G stocks? Tony I believe you were running the rule over a few. You seemed to be leaning toward SQZ, which in hindsight was a good call. My preferred UK O&G stock is HBR, which has done the complete opposite over the past week. Still plenty of time for another bid or improved offer.
