Terrible news, how this pans out who knows. This could severely damage the trust, hard work and effort HUM put into the communities. Hopefully this will be a flash in the pan incident and will not lead to further/deeper resentment and hostilitites towards the company. The reason this isn't moving is mainly imo due to the unloved postion of Gold. Long positions taken by traders have been reduced significantly due to the expected rise in the USD and interest rates, while this needs a quarter of 2 to pan out, tgis is the main reason why all gold stocks are doing so bad. It's not the company, its not the region of the mine is purely sentiment in the whole sector. There is no real factors that could drive gold atm. But yet we are here, I am here because I have watched this share from the start and I expect it to rerate with the drilling campaign, which should be starting any time soon. Until we start drilling and having snippets of info about the drill samples etc we are at the mercy of the POG. We will rerate in time but patience is needed, which I am short on unfortunealty, I do wish I had banged the rest in Oilers but hey it was also a bit of a hedge for me. Patience will in the end be rewarded, but hey if you wanna trade in and out this sucks ATM. Funky

Mali Mali is not the best place for stability. The whole of west Africa is a mess and has been for ever. Africa has had so MUCH money thrown at it by the West its unreal and is still a mess. Anyone that thinks war greed and dictators isnt holding back the region is delusional ( Sry james ) Mail's neighbours have fought many wars mostly to do with tribal grievenesess, tyrants, terriosts and over power control and money. The whole region is unstable, well the whole of Africa really, it's been a mess forever, worse since black empowerment, SA recently stated that tgey would repossess white farms, now while SA isnt close it is the most developed and stable country out of the lot and if that can happen there the anything can happen. Let's be honest about it, it certainly isn't stable like Europe, this Africa. The UK government does not recommend travelling there, lots of trouble terriosts etc. It's all there on travelling advice. I have a fair chunk in HUM, but i agree the ramping is way over the top, you need balance to be fair ) Funky

I forgot Isreal and the real chance of war with Iran, Syria,Lebanon and Hezbollah.

Geopolitical risks of Iran, Venezuela, Permian basin popelines near full capacity, Saudi desire of high POO, The " Donald " Effect, companies saying they will pull out if Iran, lots of news saying POO to hit 100$, herd mentality, everyone piling in as they know most predictions off SP was to do with 60$ a barrel of oil so the whole sector is rerating currently. I'm sure I missed a few bits but that's the main jist of it all. Enjoy the ride. Funky

Gold is predicted to pick up later in the yr .... Currently POO and Oilers is what is hot and is only going to get hotter. When I bought in here I rushed on the last 34p peak and have been up n down around 3%. Gold has broken is low resistance level and is struggling to stay above 1300 oz , most candies are bullish on the gold stuff and it is currently.very cheap, with HUM being incredibly cheap but as above oil is all the rage atm so let's see how the drilling will influence the app, it normally has a postive effect and as the resource just needs infilling it shoukd have a strong safety net. While I'm waiting here I was lucky enough to have picked up TLW just before take off at 182p. The reason this hasn't rerated is quite simply because of the low LOL, this is going to be addressed in the next drilling campaign starting this month, I'm torn between cashing in and buying in big here, ATM I kinda see it as a safe hedge and am happy to hold my 250k of shares for now, I just hooe it doesn't rerate before my poker has finished its party. I think now with the price of POO and the geopolitical risks of Iran and Venezuela coupled with the near max capacity of the Permian pipelines and the Saudi desire of a fatter POO price for there forth coming Aramco flotation and all the talk of 100$ a barrel that Oilers are now finally being rerated to reflect this, once the results start trickling in it seems a no brainer. Thanks guys for the responses. So we will start our new drilling campaign within 4 weeks, IMO seems a good time for entry, I will wait for the Donald to kick Iran's nuke deal to the dirt and switch into being overweight here. So if we say we will start drilling in June for arguments sake how long to drill and to send off the core samples and get them back to define a new resource limit for HUM. Any ideas? Funky
