Cox its unlikely to be about withholding good or bad info for their own gain. That's not what Ben and co have shown us they are about.
If they are silent, there is very likely a reason.
It may be linked to KSZ or another asset or prospective asset but radio silence isn't what Ben does without good reason, that I have utter faith in. (Until proven otherwise).

So 'venting' may be the wrong term for me to use.
However I used it in the sense of releasing frustration and showing distrust.
I can understand everyone expected news by now (myself included).
Finishing the hole in itself isn't material news.

We have to IMO judge KAV / Ben on what we have seen to date, which is a company and person who takes pride in being a regular communicator and is good at it.
Therefore to change this character is again IMO either the company needing time to seek clarification on any mineralisation as they are not happy to release data simply from visual (if it is even visual) or an xrf reading.
Or, they can't comment due to something else commercially sensitive.

I don't think Ben goes completely dark on all communication for no reason at all.
I may be wrong but the fact is I have faith and trust in him/them as they've shown me I should up to now.

It's everyone's right to share concerns and thoughts here for both sides. My initial post though was that you can call Ben out as a hero if it's good and the devil if it's not good.
He can't change the geology.

So it's as Bozi said ....'If the company turns around and says there's no reason for the silence and publishes news that doesn't explain the delay, then I think people will be right to criticise then.'

In all the interviews Ben has generally always said/disclaimed there are no guarantees. Yes he was excited but he always has highlighted the risks as well as the potential.

Many have said if the news is good then he is a hero and if he doesn't then he has no credibility. That's a very black and white viewpoint to me and a bit unfair.

I appreciate some may have been influenced by his positivity and excitement. I'm just saying everyone here should make their own decisions as it's their own accountability and responsibility.
I respect we should hold directors, CEOs, COOs to account but IMO if you decide to hold despite your fears or uncertainty, then it's not on anyone else.

Ben has always for the main part had the MO of stating the risks, and validating information where possible before releasing it.
If he isn't releasing news it's IMO because he can't or won't until he has validated whats what (be it good or bad).

Personally I think the share price has held well given the overall market backdrop.

If they are still drilling now then IMO they either ;
- encountered issues and have been working through them, but it didn't fully stop the drill.
- potentially did a DHEM and decided to drill at another angle slightly (similar/same to what KeithOz has also suggested)
- they went deeper (however this is less likely IMO as Ben has said they wouldn't)....unless of course they kept hitting the motherboard and Keith isn't quite ready to lead the elephant with his non alcoholic beer yet.

If they are not still drilling then the most likely options IMO are (given they haven't said they had to abandon)...;
- they are seeking validation through testing of the core and will release when completed
- they are in discussion with a major or JV partner.

Of these, I probably favour the first option.

However the longer this continues with total radio silence. Including any unrelated news of second rig or this rig to ditau (and all the other news that's due) then who the hell knows lol.

Just wait and see and I have limited confidence in any theory as they are all viable one way or another.

Apart from possibly the alien spacecraft that's an outlier to me.
