I added a few at around the penny. Not massive amounts so didn't impact my average somewhere around, or just above, 2p.

I'm generally always of the opinion that unless anything materially has changed why I invested I don't fret. Plus the spread and liquidity takesaway any incentive to trade a portion on lower sentiment to build up the position that way.

I think kav is a sit on hands stock until they've further advanced their hypothesis through exploration. They have multiple strong prospects and I personally believe BT is a decent person and fundamentally is trying to do the right things.

Market was generally pretty poor today so nice to see KAV gain.

Yeah seems to be a nice teasing pattern and it could have been taken advantage of for some time, and likely is, until news. Personally I can't be bothered while I wait for the news here so am sitting on my position.

They've got several million +.
In theory fully funded but seen to be potentially looking at potential project level financing, plus further acquisitions.
I'd expect this years objectives to be fully funded and am hoping they avoid any form of JV or financing is after this year's campaigns.

So anyone who reads your Kaczynski style manifestos posted about KAV should indeed do their own research; form their own opinion and certainly not listen to anyone uber positive or uber negative on these boards.

Clearly you're not happy but you've lost any perspective you had and almost all your points are emotionally charged and magnified views fuelled by your personal mistrust.

Personally I see more positives than negatives with KAV, and they are aiming for significant systems on their land packages on difficult terrain. IMO I believe at least one of these
theories will result in a significant find and that in
that event KAV shareholders can see significant returns. Ultimately I believe the management are genuinely working to achieve a discovery.

There are never any guarantees. The road to discovery wil always be made up of shareprice peaks and troughs. That's part of the journey in this type of investment.

I guess that's for us to decide StanAccy, on an individual basis, as to whether we think KAV offer what we want to invest in.

At 8m mcap and the asset base KAV have (excluding and further acquisitions) I'm of the opinion that this offers exceptional risk reward. A fifty bagger certainly isn't out the question, and even more potential.

I'm comfortable and open minded to the risk.

Personally based on the fact the drop to pre suspension price was due to the risk to the balance sheet and material uncertainty, and that they have now initiated the SISP insolvency process I'd personally imagine an unsuspended trading price at present of between 3-4.5p tbh.

Regarding the valuation of the mine any stalking horse bid will take into consideration the debt, the capex spend to make it economic to mine profitably etc and the current state of the company. The trouble here is while their is still a reorganisation and restructuring of debt option, this won't resolve the c1/c3 cost which is the underlying elephant in the room. It's highly likely this is why the secured lenders haven't renegotiated already. This has had a subsequent impact and exacerbated the issue by creating a shortfall on account with suppliers now being owed in excess of $14 million and raising court claims for repayment.

It's simply a case of wait and see but clearly ATM the cards are stacked against a return of shareholder value. I think the money back at our suspension price is itself optimistic, but a buyout at a premium to current shareholders is highly highly unlikely IMO.

It gives a much clearer view of what they intend to do before selling which is latter option.

It's a difficult one. I feel a bit of a doom mongerer and can understand why current shareholders would want to try and remain positive.

I'm just not sure that the outcome here will be what many hope. It certainly won't be anything near market value. The structure of any deal is way too variable to even try guess at tbh.
I know another example of just energy where they concluded a transaction and all outstanding shares, options and other equity was cancelled or redeemed for no consideration and without any vote or other action of the existing shareholders. So it's really just a case of wait and see.
It's never a like for like comparison and previous examples are just examples. Being hopeful is a natural feeling in these situations outside of any investors control.

On the plus side one of the key points, I believe, in an SISP is that it's a managed pricess to try get the best value for stakeholders.

I believe the first bid will be what they call a stalking horse bid/transaction. Which effectively sets the floor which any other potential bid competitors have need to improve on by set dates. Their can be extensions.

IMO only, given the debt and investment needed to reduce costs etc etc I personally believe the most likely outcome here is similar to just energy. It's not to say that some restructured deal can't or won't happen that isn't as bad for shareholders but it's highly unlikely that those expecting to see a fair value and return on investment from the suspension price will have their expectations met.

I was pleased that it started off with a return to KSZ GRS B conductors etc and think the ambition is evident. However I await more detail which I hope will come either by way of interviews or availability of a more technical strategy document us PIs can read.

While it's not 100% what I'd want to see strategically, it's not my strategy and as I've said many times (Ella can probably vouch) Ben has the full picture on e.g. what any acquisitions may be that I / we don't know until released. So will wait for more on those before I finalise an opinion.
