I'm not seeing takeover here short term but either way I'm here with decent position come what may. I think plenty of upside if the co just execute the intended plan as is, anything extra is icing.

The demand for copper will require a whole host of opportunities to now become commercially viable. Be it lower grade, higher AISC, previously uncommercial projects etc etc
Copper is adundant but also most of the world's copper is really low grade. So while copper and other key elements need to stay financially viable to the demand (manufacturing) side, it needs to be viable for the supply side to mine it. This favours the price balance in favour of the miners going forward as extraction of the lower grade and more expensive to mine resources will need to become more feasible. A key shift.

I agree with most comments in that this PDMR (Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility) over the options indicates news soon. Especially following on from the appointment of Rothschild. Today's RNS doesn't indicate a buyout over a JV to me but what it does tell me is that those in charge now have access to price-sensitive information and therefore can not (actually, must not) deal in the company's shares as they are effectively in a close period.
So as many have said (including me) expecting details soon.
More importantly is the share price is waking up.

Yeah I've been holding here for the blyvoor but haneti it indeed interesting and may keep me here longer. I was initially looking for circa 7p off blyvoor (assuming a non dilutive funding as per the numerous confirmations of that by LC). May well get drill results before the final deal on blyvoor so may go higher than my initial target but will see.
I will probably hold some for mid term depending on the news

I don't think comparing offer timescale examples will add much.
I don't think we will hear about the first offer in any event. It'll be an ongoing and iterative discussion and a more formal offer which NvS may or may not inform the market on. He may if he can use it as leverage to lift the price and the eventual final offer.
Key for me in terms of having an expectation of news soon is firstly as you said, AA won't want to risk this going out of Exclusivity with other majors around and secondly, AA probably won't want us too far into a drill season in case we find those ire bodies.
It's a case of patience and it'll happen when it happens. Set up an RNS email alert and hold tight imo

That's what you get with these things until they turn. Ideally I'd have got in at this lower price. Can't add ATM so it's a case of sit tight.

Again stronger finish to the day. RNS may have helped and if not it will help avoid any fud.

For me, another positive step and evidences we are moving forward but in terms of determining JV or m&a I'm not persuaded to believe stronger in either direction by this specific Rns.

I don't see why AA would 'share' any of the spoils longfell.

To clarify I believe Smallholding is suggesting AA may want to get a deal done sooner, to avoid running the risk of us (ARCM) finding one of the ore bodies early on in the drill season. At this stage AA only have exclusivity to negotiate a transaction and don't have a share of anything we find.

So AA have exclusivity that gives them time to consider the terms of any future transaction, without fear of formal competitive bidding. Bit they have no ownership or share of our assets until a commercial transaction is formalised.

Given our exploration to date and the insight in the understanding of the geology, and the best prospective spots to drill out to find the ore bodies id love us to find one or more motherloads before AA can make an offer.
Or just after in the event AA don't offer enough, and prior to any subsequent offers from other third parties.

Is this likely to happen. Lord knows. So many variables and possibles. But basically the general principal of AA probably wanting to get a deal done before we start sinking more drill bits and potentially increasing the buy price is sound imo.
I'd anticipate it's certainly good reasoning for an argument supporting a view of us all getting some further news during the course of this month.

I certainly wouldn't rule that out but generally I want as much out of any deal as is possible in the near and mid term here. I'll hold and have faith NvS gets a good deal one way or another...with someone.

Not really no H202, other than the significant value statement you've referred to.

NvS has previously spoken about the share price being 0,10 or 20 bagger but in terms of a deal with AA, NvS wouldn't give much away.
Key thing is he isn't looking to give away, isn't a fire sale, have other interested parties and of course can go alone to generate FCF with low capex, asset backed debt and funded until end next year anyway.
This is where NvS has been smart IMO. He has ensured we are in a financially stable position with the ability to take this forward with or without AA or the other entities sat on the side once AA exclusivity ends.
Simply a waiting game and then see what happens and what any deal may look like.

Peggy, out of curiosity why do you stay invested here?. Genuine question.
It's just if I was so negative,or had the outlook you seem to have with your investment I'd have sold long ago.

Couldn't disagree more. aA have done technical analysis on the asset and due diligence and subsequently decided to take their option to extend their exclusivity to discuss a commercial transaction. They have shown they want the asset.

If a deal isn't done now imo it's because Nick decided the offer was too low. We have other majors from around the globe interested or can go alone with the shirt route to production with low capex and asset backed debt. We have cash to see us through couple years exploration.

Just need patience and let what will be, be imo. Sit on our hands and let it play out.

Yes does seem under the radar to many here given the potential of the assets based on work completed over time to date. That's was a good thing but as we're in it can go on up now haha

Will take some time but as you've both said the rewards are potentially great here.
