Great short term trading opportunity possible on Monday / Tuesday........that's why I hold significant cash reserves for opportunities like this. Ignore the resident nasty characters on here (the one's who post multiple times a day on the EZJ bb - they just seem to post multiple times a day without ever buying or selling any share of any company - I suppose lonely characters have to find some way of passing their days). GLA to those who plan to trade on Monday/Tuesday.
Check their record Livestock.........look at all Credit Suisse estimates against IAG in the past and you will clearly see just how far off the mark they were. Not sure why you are quoting the 1.26% SP rise today? Totally irrelevant.
@IAG longterm..... " If BA Lite goes ahead, its game over for Easyjet"......your statement is absolute nonsense. Many airlines have tried the 'low cost' con and failed miserably. BA can target only some of the routes available without impacting their premium service on some of these existing routes- albeit temporarily cancelled from Gatwick. Setting up a new subsidary will work to a degree insofar as it will enable lower crew costs but healthy competition is good. Previous attempts by BA go down the 'budget' route failed miserably......and for very good reason.
@Johnbri4..........please don't encourage BB to post any more totally useless information. I'm sure the lonely man has something better to do with his time.....or perhaps not!
No great loss then. Alitalia was a basket case ever since I was a kid.......only survived year by year with Italian government funding. even back in the early 80's.
RE: I flogged my holding seeing if it dips25 Aug 2021 16:02
The most relevant differential between RR & IAG at this stage ......is that RR reported a profit on latest returns.....IAG is still probably at least 12 months away from being able to report an 'Operational Profit' (excluding exceptional liabilities).
I find it more profitable to trade the swings - right now (perhaps short term) - the momentum is with the airlines. Ignore the resident doomster on here.....he's just 100% negative......all the time. GLA
Marab - you need to do your research24 Aug 2021 12:44
"falklandinvestor yes already bought rr shares @109 but as i n noticed that the trend alignment with BA had smapped rr going up at the time and ba going down maybe RR have got orders to start servicing the engines getting ready but not sure can only think of that reason"
@Marab - you are invested in RR, but don't know why RR started to break the trend from alignment with IAG?. If you done some basic research would would know that RR posted a profit in latest returns.....that's why RR has been on a positive breakout for a while.
RE: 165p+ next, probably today !!23 Aug 2021 12:42
Would be nice. I bought £30k worth on Friday @ £1.56, was targeting a £1.64 exit. A £1,500 quick profit is always good to bank. I always keep to my exit SP.
@Skindle.........see your post below dated 5th May.... " I actually find the posts of FTSE12 and Stargazer interesting as these posters tend to be better informed than many here."
FYI.....So nobody can have an opinion if they are not currently invested? You may want to have a look at your posting history which clearly lack any insight or rationale
@Guessworx. I have no doubt whatsoever that it will see £2.00+ again It's just hard to see this SP level in the next few months. Reality is that nobody knows what's going to happen in the Medium to Long Term.
