Every BB has their fair share of trolls, this BB certainly does.
Trolls usually have deep psychological issues and seek some sort of validation from more intelligent folks.

Best way to deal with these folks is to just ignore them and not give the validation they seek.

They don't impact the SP one iota.

US futures looking positive - no surprise there after yesterday dramatic sell off. All looking good for a decent IAG additional increase in SP on Monday.

I'm expecting a decent pick up in airline SP's next week. Nothing has fundamentally changed since last week.....apart from market fear. It's not as if the Global outlook is breaking news.

I'm going to hold on till I see how the US markets react this afternoon. I'd expect IAG to drop a bit more by tomorrow, not by much though. I'd be happy to top up if it goes sub £3.

A very misleading post by 'middleEastMoney'........The fact is, the vast majority of EZJ fleet are NOT leased and they are certainly NOT paying $650,000 per aircraft per month. .

Longtermview - you come across as being quite negative. I' happy, up £16,000 in 3 days. Not a bad investment. Will sell soon and take the profits whilst they are on the table.

Odd that the doomsday posters have gone a bit quiet recently. Maybe something to do with increases in SP's across the whole sector.

I've been building up a large shareholding in IAG for the past 3 days....a bargain price @ £2.00 to £2.10 range. Will never get in at these prices again.

COO of EZJ (ex RYA) - speech to crew & pilots earlier in the week.......copied from Irish Prime Ministers (Leo Varadakar) speech to Republic of Ireland. Now wonder Bellews speech to crew & pilots lacked any sort of emotion and empathy - He has now been found out! Admitted to all crew & pilots that he copied most of the speech, All he done was to insert the words EasyJet every so often. He has now apologised to all crew & pilots (and the Irish Prime Minister). Talk about how to lose credibility.

LONGTERMVIEW 24.....I never mentioned anything about 'IAG flying to Europe', so don't know where you got that from? It is you who are making the statement that additional shares will be issued. You DON'T know this, hence, you are making an 'assumption' -and you state that my posts are misleading!!. Perhaps you should read 'luddites' post and educate yourself a little.

EZJ current have access to sufficient credit, although they have publicly stated that they would be very reluctant to draw down additional credit funding due to the longer term liability this would create. Additional debt on the balance sheet can create additional problems in the longer term. Key issue for all Airlines at this stage is that they have no robust forecast on how long fleets may be grounded. All airlines have scenario models in place and they know where their breakpoints are. As a Management Consultant in the Airline sector, I have some insight. There are conversations ongoing on how to reduce their fleet costs (reviewing funding agreements with aircraft suppliers). These are significant liabilities.

Not necessarily as good as you may think. All depends on whether they will buy 'Company' owned shares or whether there is an additional share issue. Airlines will be very reluctant to sell their company owned shares at these prices. If any airline propose an additional share issue - then SP's will drop.

George Wright - on your post of 14th March you stated "IAG are finished", "Going down to 75p a share"......now you're stating you are "LONG on this stock". If you feel IAG are going down to .75p a share, why don't you sell out and buy back in at that price? Seriously, if you knew anything about the Airline sector whatsoever you would know that even in the current environment with majority of fleets grounded, IAG is going nowhere near as low as your prediction. Personally, I'm loading up at these prices, happy to invest and hold for a few years. The next 12 months or so are going to be very challenging for all of the big players and many will come out with different business models to adapt.

Crew have previously been provided with free 'crew food' on flights. New measures introduced by EZJ means crew will have to buy their own food (including tea/coffee) at inflated on board prices. Given the fact that cabin crew are on a basic minimum and are paid an additional sector supplement plus sales commission, this has not gone down well. Bring you own you say!...trying bringing food through security!. Worst still, crew will have to pay for their own bottled water on-board, previously provided free. Have been told to drink tap water on board. Previous guidance given to crew was to never drink on board tap water (for obvious reasons). On a 14 hour round trip to TelAviv, that's a considerable expense for crew. I expect the bottom feeders who have appeared on the all the Airline BB's recently (people who have no understanding of the airline sector whatsoever) will have no sympathy with crew.....these bottom feeders are probably the same chavs who expect flights at rock bottom prices.

PEARLS....I'd suggest you will find that the cuts in EZY are right across the employee base (inc management). There will be no bonus payments to any directors and they will face the same pay cuts (no pay for 3 months at this stage) as everyone else.

JT....I have a significant amount of contacts in the Airline sector, sad part was that a lot of people were briefed before the crew/pilots. Video of Peter Bellows briefing the staff lacked any kind of compassion, just looked like he was reading from a script (if you seen the video then you would know he is ex-RYA). The reality is that all Airlines have to make dramatic and immediate cuts, along with most business sectors right now. Longer term hours/days cuts (assuming they have jobs to come back to) extend to October 2021 ( yes 2021). Just gives an indication of how Airlines are planning ahead.

It's not a case of coming back to the same terms & conditions.....far reduced terms & conditions as proposed by EZJ

Union now in a fight with EZJ Board. Board want a to enforce a 3 mth lay off for all crew (no pay) and deduct over a 6 mth period. Unite recommended crew take redundencies as a threat back to EZJ board.

All the characters coming out of the woodwork predicting £1 a share across the airlines. IAG, EZY, RYA are not Flybe's. They are structurally sound airlines who will make the right decisions over the next 6 months or so. Everyone understands the whole airline sector is under immense financial pressure and they will all have significant challenges ahead. Will be interesting to see the 'Doomsday Experts' disappearing off the airline BB's as soon as there is sign of a recovery. Recovery will take some considerable time, but they will recover.

I'm a management consultant specialising in the airline sector so I have some insight into detailed contingency planning. All airlines have very detailed contingency plans in place for a multitude of scenarios, this has always been the case. The contingency plans also include very detailed financial modelling against 'what if' scenarios and how to address each and every scenario. All flights being grounded for a period of time has always been one of the scenarios. Each airline will understand the financial impact and what measures they can put in place. I know that the financial modelling is been updated on a daily basis. One of the key challenges right now is how quick each airline can adopt the drastic measures required. Obviously payroll is one of the key costs and implementing measures to reduce takes time. All airlines will have numerous fixed costs (Long term & Current liabilities) - majority of airlines are working to address how to limit in the short term. Current events are unprecendented and all airlines will know where the breakpoint is.
