NorthScot - the IAG obsessive poster was always talking about EZJ on the IAG board......always pretending he was switching fantasy trades between IAG and EZJ.......obviously suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder.

Moonman1977 - yes, you are correct on the IAG poster - I will never understand why people post 24/7 and all day long on boards when it is obvious they have never traded or invested in a share. It has become a compulsive obsession with him, a bit like the resident halfwit on this board.

NorthScot - I've quite a large holding in IAG, so hopefully market will interpret results and cash burn as positive. As I mentioned before, I've loaded up on the big down days so I'm in a good position as of today. Opening up of transatlantic is a huge step forward for IAG. I still see EZJ hitting £7 in December. Sector will always experience down days, but I'm positive going into December.

NorthScot - I never engage with these type of people as they just seek attention. I'll never understand why certain individuals constantly post daily on a board when it's clearly obvious they never trade or invest - There is obviously something missing in their lives.

NorthScot - As with all trades, it's always a gamble. Irrespective of how the market interprets the results, I'm positive on airlines moving forwards. Would usually post on IAG board, but no longer as it is has turned very childish. One particular poster posts 24/7 and never just a few lines, he always write a novel. Looking at your posts on IAG board - you know who i'm talking about. Will just have to wait and see how IAG goes tomorrow.

As I said earlier in the week - if EZJ can hold 630 for a few days then signs are good. As for my large IAG position - my paper profits just keep on rising.

NorthScot - agree. Airlines are not as price sensitive as people think. Price sensitivity only occurs between competing airlines on same flight sectors. Overall Ticket prices increases (even step price increases) will not deter people from flying in the slightest. Some airlines are just set up better than others (lower cost bases), EZJ will never be a RYA, they are just not set up like that and have never and will never be able to replicate RYA profits, but they have always been like that. It's just the way it is. This does not mean that the EZJ cannot see a decent rise in SP moving forwards.

Interest rates - yes, and a move will affect the overall market in the very SHORT TERM and then it will be back to business as usual. Are they target demographic going to reduce spending at ASOS, no......the demographic audience will just continue to spend, spend, spend.

TraderUK, yes I can see it getting back to £40, could even be by next Summer. I can't see it ever reaching the £60's again. For the moment, I'm happy to trade it. At the moment, the price is realistic (not cheap nor too expensive). I would expect a decent bounce coming into December.

NorthScot - Yes, IAG have been hit very hard but sometimes those hit hardest have the potential to make a better recovery in SP. I don't expect any shock with the results as there will be no surprises there......it'll be whether the rate of cash burn is improving and whether it can continue to improve and at what rate......that's what the market will be looking for. Opening up on transatlantic on Monday should also give it a bit of a bounce. It's just one more psychological barrier to moving forwards. I'm fairly positive on the whole sector moving into December, yes, we will still have the media hysteria about how we're all going to die of Covid, reality will be that the world will just move on and adapt to it. Costs for airlines will increase, but that's just the nature of the global economy and supply push inflation the global economy is facing at present. Seat prices will increase early next year but this will not stop PAX volumes increasing.

I expect this to finish in the red today - usually happens following a decent rise on previous day. Will be back up by Thurs/Fri.

NorthScot - my money is on IAG at the moment, but have also built up a decent holding in EZY (picked up when just north of £6. Will just have to see how the IAG results on Friday are interpreted by the market. Helped to day by a upgrade broker rating. It's funny how Covid is hardly in the news at the moment - media too focused on COP26 for now. From what I gather from the people I know at EZY, forward bookings are looking very positive.

Initially lifted by Lufty results, can the sector be lifted again on Friday (following IAG results)? I think so. I can see EZY getting close to £7 by latter part of December. Eitherway, my large trades on IAG is looking good (always top up on the big down days) and never buy on the Up days. Only way to make real good money on the airline sector is to short-term trade.

Perhaps a decent indicator of SP direction. Will be interesting when IAG publish latest update on Friday and how the market views the results. I've loaded up on IAG on the down days so now holding a decent profit. The credit line announced for IAG removes risk of any RI so if market views results positively then it should raise the whole airline sector .

The 'Motley Fool' article is as per their usual click bait rubbish......just a collection of paid individuals who change their minds on an almost daily basis and ALWAYS report after an event. Have a look at this particular individual and you will get a sense of just how poor his standards are and always lacks real insight. It's just paid 'Click Bait' trash.

If it can break 630 and hold then all the short term signs are good. Positive momentum will return soon.

NorthScot - Yes, that news is actually factual and not something made up. I'm not sure whether you have noticed or not, the volumes of BUYS v. SELLS have been significantly higher over the past 2 weeks. There does appear to be some fund money going into EZJ at the moment (not all PI's). Usually a very positive sign

NorthScot - The Covid hysteria will be back once COP26 is over......it'll all be about how were all going to die due to Climate Change......and then it'll be back Covid hysteria again through the winter. I can see a huge travel pick up by next spring.
