No way a Tier 1 mine plus Pov and all the other exciting concessions are going for a mere £780m! This has to be without doubt the most exciting package of mining concessions ever sold! ( with a Top 10 Tier 1 Mine thrown in as a bonus! ) Majors will be all over this like a rash and given £780m is pocket change for them there is zero chance that the Chinese will get it for this derisory amount so let the fireworks begin as the starting gun has been fired! This allows you to draw out the other parties position which will be high ( or perhaps extreme to match your own position) Then it's just a case of offer and counter offer until a mutually agreeable price is reached ( If indeed that is possible as one or more of the parties might be intractable on their position) And of course this scenario assumes no other players enter the fray in which case the initial offer would have served to set the base at which bids and counter bids start from. But back to the Chinese " extreme" first bids in the 20's I would expect Solg to have countered with a similarly extreme position probably reflecting the NAV so certainly over £1 and maybe circa £1.60. This then sets the parameters for the negotiations between 25p and £1.65 with a middle ground around 95p. Of course this is purely hypothetical but not beyond the realms of possibility! GLA Solgers and here's hoping we get the high takeout price we deserve and which is warranted by Cascabel's Tier 1 credentials!

apart from the usual suspects ( bhp, nmm etc etc) another suitor who may well throw her hat in the ring is gina especially as the offer from the chinese is so low! han**** mining are very active in ecuador and purchased 3 concessions bordering / surrounding cascabel so they must be watching events very carefully and with the bidding starting so low they have an added incentive to table a bid especially if none of the majors come forward!

Can’t argue with 6 individuals you’ve highlighted. Every one of them I filtered many moons ago for various reasons some of which I can’t even remember because it’s so long ago!! Think the main culprits go without saying but Bozi was and is soooooo negative and a glass half full person! The number of times he moaned and whined about Solg expressing doom and slit your wrists rhetoric! And as for Zoros what an absolute tool he is! Full of “ Oh look at me “ narcissistic bull shi£ even to the point of bragging he was holidaying in some place that escapes me ( Could have been the Caymans?) He is soooo full of his own self importance I’m surprised he can even fit through a doorway! In fact I think the Carley Simon track “ Your so Vain” pretty much sums him up! But as my old Gran used to say “ Aye there’s nowt as queer as folk” and that certainly applies here!

And of course it goes without saying that both of these events will push the SP much higher probably into the 40's irrespective of the Chinese bid which should in turn ensure we receive a more realistic bid better reflecting the true value of Solg!

IMO Solg need to get the revised PFS out including TAM and using much higher metal prices than in the original PFS. This will do 2 things. It will generate much higher NAV and valuation of the company but it will also incorporate higher capex costs for the build. This in turn will turn feed into the CIPA ensuring we have the right cover for capex spend! Maybe this is why they got the MRE out on TSM much earlier than originally planned as it needs to be incorporated into the revised PFS which in turn generates a more robust and accurate CIPA? All conjecture I appreciate but logic dictates that this would be the ideal sequence!

Like other LTH’s I have been through the wringer with Solg! Bought in the high 30’s and up to around 42p and then the big drop driven in part by several Black Swan events which at one point saw me sitting on a paper loss just north of £100k! However I never lost faith in Solg and the quality of its concessions especially Alpala so I bought more ( perhaps too many) and managed to average down with a buy in price of 16.5p. They do say fortune favours the brave ( or perhaps fools!) and happily and thank fully for me I’m now sitting on a profit just shy of £90k. But the journey is far from over and I remain convinced that within the next 2 years and probably much sooner we will all be richly rewarded for our patience and walk away with life changing profits which no one can begrudge us given the ups and downs we’ve all endured. Agree with Art. You've only got to look at the above tab " WCAP Share Price" and it gives you the salient info about share issued and MCAP etc.

Based on where the current price sits for Weshop on the NYSE and WCAP's share of their business at 11.8% I get an approximate valuation of around 27p per share for WCAP's holding which is a 10 Bagger from the current SP! Great is your currently in but sadly I'm not! Should be a great few days for holders here! Well done and good luck!

Gordon oh Gordon! Nice try with your deramping rhetoric but you've missed a key point! SML's NPV is based on an MRE value which is 5 years out of date when Tungsten, Copper & Tin were many many multiples lower than they are today so if metal prices come down off their current highs we will still be due an upward re-rate once the new MRE is published in Q1 next year.

Worth remembering that the current PFS only contains around 18% of the Ore which we originally drilled at Alpala! ( And this excludes TAM!) The reality is that if Solg are bought out by a major they will likely tear up our scaled back PFS and with much higher metal prices and economic extraction much cheaper than when we scaled back our original mine plan they will scale everything back up again which will likely mean Cascabel ranked as the 2nd or 3rd biggest Copper / Gold mine in the planet! Bonkers when you consider our MCAP is a miserly £600m! Sometime soon the market and a major are going to wake up and accord Solg with the valuation it truly deserves! Tick Tock, Tick Tock

It really call comes down to the the values in the MRE in Q1 and hoping the market recognises the huge potential of Redmoor and SML's other assets.

Typically at our stage in the "Lassonde Curve" and given we are operating in a good jurisdiction we should expect to be valued at roughly 30% of NPV once we have an MRE / PFS so if the NPV comes in at circa £1bn that should in theory give us an MCAP of £300m so an SP of about 11p

All theoretics as the market can be notoriously slow at recognising true market values of companies but either way we will be well well north of where the SP currently sits once we have published the MRE in Q1 next year especially if it's anywhere near £1bn NPV. So hold onto your golden tickets folks and don't let the de-rampers persuade you to part with them! GLA
