Agree with all of those sentiments Fort. What amazes me are the fools selling now at 25 / 26/ 27p! The offer even though a joke pretty much underpins the sale at 28p ( even though there is a caveat that the offer may go down which given how the board reacted to the original 26p offer I feel is very unlikely) However the big imponderable is whether another major enters the fray and in such a scenario you could conceivably have a similar bidding war to what occurred at Wyloo. Admittedly it’s all ifs and buts however given it remains a possibility why on earth would you be selling your shares below the offer price?!

Every day now in the last 30 to 40 minutes of trading the SP drops like a stone! It's like someone has a great big hand on the book and is making sure there is a steady daily decline! Anyone would think the DP was being manipulated down to an agreed price? Surely not!?

Bozi is either a negative miserable shareholder who’s glass is permanently half empty or he’s a stooge for a party who have been trying to keep the Solg SP suppressed and now an offer has been made he’s working hard to justify selling out at an insanely low price! Either way Bozi has always talked down Solg with uber negative rhetoric which is why I filtered him many moons ago! Untrustworthy and Disingenuous sums him up so beware the wolf in sheep’s clothing!

Quady! I and many others filtered this incredibly disruptive poster many,many moons ago! Replying to his posts is pointless as Quady would happily argue that Black is White and would never ever admit he is wrong! He is literally not right in his head and had mental problems so arguing with him is pointless! Like others have advised the only way to deal with this mentally unstable poster is to filter him otherwise he will simply keep sucking the oxygen out of this board which clearly benefits no one!

Eloro - My post is not pessimistic. In fact it’s quite the opposite! We are sitting on a huge Tier1 mining resource ( Top 10 and maybe ultimately a Top 3 Copper / Gold mine in the World !) The issue is the opening bid from the Chinese is so pitifully low that it immediately puts the brakes on on Solg getting a final bid which anywhere near reflects our true value ( even with competing bids the low start point works against us)

That’s why I believe Dan & Paul will knock back whatever 3rd bid the Chinese come with and carry on adding value for all shareholders by pursuing the path they were taking prior to the derisory bid! If we stand firm along with the majority of our shareholders then we can realise a fair price for Solg! I want a price north of 80p and much preferably above £1. I certainly don’t want anything less than 50p and even 60p would seem like I’ve been robbed! Exciting times for all! Good Luck Solgers!

That’s the Multi Million Dollar Question! When the Chinese come back with a 3rd offer which is very likely to be derisory and significantly undervalue Solg’s true worth then what? IMO our board will kick it into touch and get on with their on-going strategy of adding more shareholder value through more positive TAM assays plus an updated PFS incorporating the new open pit TAM resource along with much higher metal prices vs those used in the last PFS. Ultimately this will generate a significant increase in the NAV ( even though capex will also significantly increase ) and with much higher metal prices I believe Solg may look at increasing the “shell” of the mine plan used in the last PFS to include lower grade ore which is now much more economical to mine and thus will also increase the NAV! And of course the revised Capex incorporating TAM and the bigger shell will be included in an updated CIPA. ( And of course there are all the other tenements including POV which may be included in an Explore Co spin off) All of these critical path milestones are literally just around the corner and IMO will add significant value to our Mcap!

So do we take a bid which massively under values our assets and is as near to daylight robbery as you can get? Or do we continue ploughing our own furrow adding more and more value so that when a “proper bid” arrives it isn’t taking the pi££ and fires the starting gun for competing bidders given we will be largely de risked at this point?! Potentially we are talking the difference between being bought out between a range of 40p to 60p vs 80p to £1.20 ( or even higher if we are in 2027 and nearer to production) Personally I would take the latter option as I’ve been patient for many years so what’s another year to literally double my payout!

Add - My final words on this subject as it’s probably boring the hell out of other posters! The reaction on here is broadly ( but not totally) what I would expect from investors who are by and large heavily invested in Solg both in ££’s and emotionally so they are pretty much on point with the various nuisances around their Solg investment. However as has been pointed out many times there are a sea of investors who never post on here and it’s entirely possible that they aren’t as clued up as to why the SP has moved from a low of just over 5p in April to around 30p now! So just imagine their delight if the Chinese pop up with a 3rd bid in the high 30’s or even low 40’s. They will be delighted and much more inclined to vote for such a bid than the type of PI who frequents this board and fully understands that such a bid would be daylight robbery! Ultimately a successful bid may come down to relatively small percentages so having a chunk of PI’s willing to sell at sub 40p suits the Chinese very nicely!

Add - I most certainly don't have a low opinion of private investors and it's a bit naughty of you to even suggest this! Ultimately we are all human and as such we can unfortunately be manipulated! You've only got to look at the tsunami of scams to realise how easily people can be duped! I remain of the belief that the Chinese lowball offer is designed to manage investors expectations particularly in relation to a possible 3rd bid, and and at the same time suppress the upward SP momentum we were enjoying!

Add - I think it’s pretty obvious that no Majors or II’s will be “ conditioned”. I was of course referring to PI’s which I suspect you had already guessed but if it’s gets you a few laughs then why not?

Smickster - I fully appreciate and understand the case for keeping something up our sleeve to help bolster the share price further down the line and if the Chinese hadn’t made the offer when they did then I suspect we would have continued with our steady drip of positive news / announcements into the market at well timed points which was successfully driving up the SP!

However the lowball bid has changed all of this as IMO its purpose is 2 fold:-

1) Condition shareholders to eventually accept a final bid which is way below previous expectations but “seems” fair based on their initial offer at 26p

2) Essentially put a cap on the SP by halting our recent upwards momentum which irrespective of their offer was already heading towards 30p and with further positive news particularly around a revised PFS & CIPA it would likely have moved us nearer or indeed above 40p ( Clearly in such circumstances the Chinese would not have been able to make the low offers they made and would have needed to make an initial offer starting with a 4!)

So Dan’s dilemma now is how to try and extract maximum value under these circumstances and yes he could keep his powder dry and wait for events / further bids to unfold but the danger here is that this strategy might be too late and after the horse has bolted! IMO he will want to get the SP into a higher range within the next few weeks so he will use the levers he believes will help facilitate this and if it’s the PFS or CIPA ( or both) then I will 100% trust his decision! The reality is we are all in the dark and have our own views which it’s good to share as it’s often thought provoking. The main thing for all of us is reaching a final outcome which puts as much £ in our pockets as possible so let’s keep our 🤞that we do indeed get our long awaited big pay day! GLA

In the coming weeks say very credible sources of Robert Friedland. Solgs future NAV just keeps getting bigger & bigger which is probably why the Chinese have made their move for Solg now before we publish our revised PFS! We are worth many many multiples of the current SP never mind their derisory offer! So come on Dan & Paul let’s get the revised PFS and CIPA out in the next few weeks which will either force them to significantly increase their bid or back off which then gives more time to get the SP up to a level which more accurately reflects Solgs true value based on where we currently sit on the Lassonde Curve!

Thanks for the update PS much appreciated! Just hoping we get the major news we are all waiting for ( PFS & CIPA) and its timing drives us on towards 40p which would be a great price to be sitting at before the Chinese ( or other interested parties) make another bid! Very exciting times after eons of patiently waiting for the T/O starting gun to be fired so just hoping Solg get their A game on and get us a final offer which justifies our true worth and rewards everyone who has stayed the course over many years and multiple hurdles!

What's the book looking like? It looked like we were going to break above 31 today but we seem to have been slapped down into the low 30's again!

Now if they had come in at say 40p what would your expectations have been then? It’s all mind games now!

I and others have tried to help you understand about the CIPA but you clearly don't want to be helped as you seem to know it all! In many ways you sound just like Quady who also thinks he knows everything and never admits he's wrong! Sometimes you just need to accept what others are telling you especially if you are the only person saying the opposite!

Partrytime - You are correct that an initial CIPA was signed some time ago, however Solg are now seeking to get an updated CIPA signed off by the Ecuadorean Government which better reflects the much higher costs associated with the mine construction especially as the original CIPA made no provision for TAM! The new CIPA when signed will give Solg and potential buyers much stronger protection for Capex costs if there is a future dispute hence why it’s an important milestone which should add value to the asset and very likely propel the SP higher! Very frustrating that we keep bouncing back off 30p level! Given how the SP has been manipulated by certain actors in order to suppress the price over many months, it doesn’t take much working out to reach the conclusion that the same suspects are now keeping us pegged just below 30p! Hmmmmm, now I wonder who might have such an agenda?
