Yes a disappointing end to the day which started off so positively after the RNS! The official LSE close was 5.40 (UT) so only marginally in the red and with the FOMO factor leading up to publication of the MRE on Thursday I’m expecting a steady rise over the next few days and if the MRE is anywhere near it’s anticipated level then I think we will see a significant and sustained rise with a Mcap which more accurately reflects the value in the ground and SML’s true value vs its peers! GLA

Having spent about 10 painful years invested in Solgold and watched as my investment turned red on numerous occasions with at one point a paper loss of over £100k I can’t believe that I’ve finally hit the jackpot with SML and whoever recommended SML on the Solg board I sincerely thank you! Couldn’t resist another top up this morning even though by the time I had managed to sell some ftse 100 stock which is in free fall the SP was sitting at 6.22p to buy! Nevertheless I bought another 1,349,329 of these golden tickets which I’m hoping will more than make up for my so called “blue chip” losses! Onwards and upwards as the saying goes and roll on Thursday for what promises to be IMO an absolutely stonking MRE! GLA

Their proposed processing plant at South Crofty will be able to process Tin and Copper so guess there could be an opportunity to utilise their processing facilities if they have spare capacity? Apparently their facility at South Crofty is planned to include a “floatation section” specifically designed to process polymetallic material including the recovery of copper.

IMO our board have got this spot on! Take this week as an example with Thursday’s RNS regarding the £4.7m investment which was followed up on Friday with another RNS detailing the significant metallurgy recovery rates! Having experienced poorly timed news releases with Solgold where upward momentum was lost, SML are doing a great job of keeping the market engaged in the story which is unfolding here and the content and timing of recent news releases has been instrumental in helping to propel the SP where it currently sits and I’m sure this will continue up to and beyond the publication of the MRE!

Just a friendly word of advice regarding replying to unpleasant infestations! Ideally don't reply but if you feel the need to respond then don't reply to their link which often has a negative subject line as this just propergates their message even more! I find the best way to make your point is to insert their Moniker in the subject line so it replies directly to them so no one can be under any illusion about their postings and their intention! Just my opinion of course but sadly we had many such posters on the Solg board to the point that it was ceasless!! The good news is that they usually disappear for a while when good news lands!

Couldn’t agree more Max! So glad I invested some of my Solgold profits into SML. Solg ended up being a huge disappointment given its massive potential and the scurrilous deal to sell out at a pitiful 28p per share! However SML is looking like I might make the kind of return I should have made on Solg. SML is perfectly poised to re- rate when all the new drilling data and tungsten pricing is loaded into the upcoming MRE and I’m very excited to be on board here with 5.5m golden tickets. GLA!

Well we haven’t got long to wait to find out! Personally I would be happy to see us in the high 4’s or into the 5’s and then consolidate at that level putting the 3’s firmly behind us! Some of the potential upside from a highly anticipated MRE has probably been priced in but IMO the MRE will be such a game changer in terms of the scope and value and this will be reflected in a significant uplift in our Market Cap and SP. Exciting times to be an investor in SML

You're absolutely right I didn't have to sell my remaining 400k at 27.9p as 28p on or around 18th March would have netted me another £400!

But as I've learnt to my cost with Solg time is money and hopefully ( but certainly not definitely) I can re- invest the proceeds and make back the £400 I could have made if I had stuck around till 18/3.

TBH after today's outcome I just wanted a clean break now from Solg as I have quite a few shares I'm looking at ( not SML) which will give me a good income from dividends!

( One of them goes Ex Div on 19/3 and an investment of around £12,500 will nett me a Divi of around £450 and I didn't want to risk JCC paying up on time!! )

Sadly I'm now all out. Just sold my last 400k shares at 27

9 which rather stuck in my throat but it's time to move onto pastures new! It's been one hell of a rollercoaster over the past however many years I've been invested here and the final outcome certainly wasn't what I or.others dreamt of or deserved! Suppose I should be grateful that I averaged down to just over 16p so not a bad little profit but when taken into context of how long I've been invested in Solg it represents a pi&& poor return on my capital but hey ho that's how the cookie has crumbled!

My only solace is that through a recommendation on here I got into SML several weeks ago with about a third of my holding here and currently sitting on a £50k profit so keeping my fingers crossed that when they publish their MRE in March and hopefully a PFS by the end of this year it may make up for some of the upside I should have enjoyed with Solgold!

Arok - Yes it has been quite a ride to put it mildly!

Still got roughly 1)3 of my holding ( 400k shares) just in case of a rival bid or by some miracle ( or pigs flying!) JCC up their bid slightly! On the flip side I've got £££ waiting in my ISA account just in case of a no vote so I can buy back more than I sold when the share price inevitably dips in such circumstances. So all bases hopefully covered and now it's just a waiting game! But whatever happens it's been an absolute blast being on this rollercoaster ride with Solgold and I hope everyone invested here over the many years gets their pay day in whatever form it may be! GLA

Their article isn’t as clued up as it professes! No mention of Leigh Creek and the potential for a significant cash injection if the ASX listing goes ahead not to mention a 20% equity share! Plus no mention that the previous MRE was based on significant lower metal prices so significant upside expected when the revised MRE is published. And then there are the not insignificant cost savings on drilling to get us to a PFS by using assay data from drilling conducted in the 80’s! They did however mention a an expended ore body but I think it’s significance in relation to the MRE / PFS has been underestimated!

I’m surprised at MF as they clearly haven’t done their homework properly and have merely skimmed the surface to get an article out which any old journalist could have knocked together never mind a site which purports to give investment advice!

But hey I agree with Bluegrass “ any publicity is good publicity” and clearly judging by today’s 15% rise we could do with a few more articles even if they are poorly researched!

PS - If you're looking for new investment opportunities it's worth taking a look at SML. Quite a few Solg investors are posting over there now Addicknt being one of them among others. It's certainly worth a peek if nothing else! Whatever you decide it's been an " interesting ride" ( cough cough cough) invested in Solg but the time is fast approaching ( sadly) to move on. I agree with you Shotgun. The price pretty much says to existing shareholders that the recent dip back to 3p is nothing to be concerned about as they wouldn’t have pitched the options at 3.5p if they weren’t confident that they could exercise them well north of this! It basically says there’s plenty of upside in SML from the current level which is reassuring especially to those of a nervous disposition who have been shaken out on the dip in the last few days! IMO I can only see upside from here! GLA

IMO I don't think the communication from the company could be clearer! It's strap yourselves in and wait for takeoff! Very exciting times to be invested in SML

Max. Yes a sad ending to our journey with Solgold but hopefully make up for it with SML which IMO is looking like a sure multi bagger!
