TBTT - Given your previous support for CGP ( even though you initially tried to hide it with some smoke and mirrors) it strikes me as a bit rich that you should allude cronyism in Solg when it is clear to all and sundry that CGP headed by the three musketeers are much more suited to such a label!

Maybe due another update on the 3 regional targets we are drilling and given we had the first one last Weds my inclination is we may get another update tomorrow? Can but hope especially given where the SP sits currently and the clock ticking till BHP are released from their stand still agreement. Nick and Citi know we need to get the share price moving northwards ahead of the Oct deadline so I’m guessing we will be having weekly updates to help bolster our defence of any low ball bid!

Reminds me of the idiots in Parliament who undermined the Brexit negotiations ( whether you were pro or anti) by declaring to the whole world that we could never leave the EU without a deal thereby giving them our head on a silver platter and effectively saying they could bend us over the negotiating table and give us a right old rogering and we would wimper and accept any terms they had as long as we had a deal be it good or bad! So be careful what you twist for folks! Do you really only want 50,60 or 70p for one of the biggest mines ever discovered? Don’t get me wrong I too have a price but it’s much closer to a fair value for what we have discovered and if it’s not on offer then I trust in NM to take us towards production. Remember that the nearer we get to a producing mine the more anyone would have to pay and Nick knows this and will take it as far as he can to get us all true value for our discovery!

In short CGP have been rather frugal with the truth in respect of their financial commitments once we are in the construction phase. In fact there is a complete news blackout in everything I have read from them on this matter! So unless you are a well read / clued up CGP shareholder you wouldn’t have a scooby doo that CGP are on the hook to stump up around $400m during the construction of Alpala! I’m very surprised they have been allowed to get away with this from a regulation perspective but guessing they are hiding behind details contained in the “small print”

Jerry - I've been thinking about CGP's attempt to replace the Solg Board and what their true motivation is beyond the obvious of selling Solg to the highest bidder! Might it be part of their strategy to sell Solg thereby generating significant revenue from their 7.6% holding eg:- £1 sale = approx £150m and £2 sale = roughly £300m Appreciate that those sale prices might seem a bit optimistic right now but if they did get a return at those levels then paying their share of Alpala construction costs suddenly seems more feasible! Just my musings and interested in any other views on this. Thanks

Addicknt – Shippy is a die hard Corbynite and hates the Conservative Party and in particular Boris! He has had a number of spats over the years with other posters on this topic but personally I think it wise to observe the age old mantra of avoiding conversations about Religion and Politics which often gets out of hand and at the end of the day no one really changes their view so what is the point!

I’m sure Nick would love to sell Solg for 55p (NOT) Maybe we have got lofty ambitions but at least we are shooting for the stars and may only reach the moon whereas your approach would be lucky to see us reach the top of anything higher than my Dads stepladders! I see your up to mischief again! Lots of positivity earlier with speculation about WHL and his post about Monday so you thought you would poor a good old dose of cold water on all the positivity by posting about the forthcoming GE and a good bit of spin and why this could be negative for mining and I guess by inference Solg. I'm with the Colonel on this and think you have sold out in anticipation of another dip so the last thing you want is lots of excitement about any exciting news which may or may not drop on Monday! Your posts are as transparent as you are as is the substance which whiffs of a self serving agenda but at least your always consistent in that respect!

TBTT - Your problem is that your thinking is too short term ( a bit like that of a trader) you just want a quick sale at 40p to make about 20p which under normal circumstances may seem reasonable. However what we have in Alpala is a Tier 1 mine which has a life of 55 years and as in most other finds of this nature will only grow as it is mined and other extensions evolve which would put Alpala into one of the largest and richest mines ever found! And here’s the funny bit - you want to sell this (along with all the other exciting prospects Solg have in the pipeline) for a mere 40p to make a measly 20p!!!! You clearly have very little vision or ambition and thank god someone like NM is running Solg and not someone like you (or Irwin et al) who would sell us down the river for a few measly shekels! In NM we trust to deliver fair and proper value for Solg and all its shareholders!

Quady - My understanding is that a DFS is in effect a BFS and this I think was briefly mentioned by Nick in one of the webinars where he clarified that some people / business refer to the Final Feasibility Study as a DFS but others as a BFS but they are one and the same
