I should add that any claim that they haven't updated shareholders in 30 months /similar, is incorrect. I think it's fair to want more substance, but to say they haven't communicated to shareholders is not true. The interview is available online and it's dd Sept 2024.

The CEO gave an interview to Proactive/ all shareholders after the AR as published. Brief, but still explained what they have been doing and what they are doing. I don't disagree that we need an AGM, but the company are ticking principal 7 as far as I can see.

He co-founded tranScrip in 2008 as a novel and innovative consultancy model, alongside the current Managing Partner, Dr Flic Gabbay, who is the President Elect of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (and Synairgen NED). Together, they successfully built the organisation as a unique, global, leading life sciences consultancy which has generated over £55m of revenues from over 250 pharma and biotech companies to provide drug development, regulatory and post licensing support. Hardly an inept and commercially illiterate dodo. Must try harder.

Yes I can see why someone with 25+ years under their belt, as co-founder of a successful industry CRO would plan a knowledge transfer over 6 months in his last role as CEO to a new one, and then take on the role of CMO at Synairgen last Nov, just so he could end his career in a disgraced fashion by drawing a salary and doing SFA to earn it. That really fits with his career history and is obviously something a professional of his calibre would be happy to do.

Nonsense; the decision to trial VP is recent, not 2.5 years old. What we need is a trial and/or a funding deal for the valuation gap to close. and that, is apparently what they are working on. Unless you have evidence to the contrary?

As you point you JB, why would they? TFG's Westbourne Partners (ex-Polygon Global Partners) are an event-driven investment outfit (and one of the longest-running European event-driven hedge funds in the industry). They are no numpties. "We like the idea of finding alpha in unexpected places being reflected by a river hiding in plain sight." They obviously see something here worth waiting out (even if some PIs here do not understand the science, their experts most certainly do), otherwise they would have increased their holding via a small additional investment to take control. And yet, no sign of action from them? Perhaps I am being naive, but that seems to indicate their tacit agreement with the BODs direction of travel, imho.

Ray Jordan wasn't a "hire" or emloyee, he was a paid consultant for a short duration providing a service to multiple clients. New CFO and CMO joined Synairgen on a full-time basis last year. Quite different.

If that's all correct, why did they hire a new CFO, Financial Controller, and trial personnel in Q423?

No doubt some catalyst was triggered by the data they were seeing in Universal. That, or they are running secret lab experiments that have provided new insights. Which do you reckon it is?

Doc83, to answer your question, my hope, specifically out of those non-dilutive funding options, is for a co-development deal with a partner that has a proven track record of drug development success using an innovative model, which does not involve 'dilution down the line". Although if you could elaborate on what that you mean by "down the line" just so we are clear that would be helpful....

It would a gross transgression of ethics, not to mention career-limiting, for lead investigators such as Prof. Wilkinson to allow sick patients in their trial to used for Synairgen to, as you put it, "buy more time".
