Changing to a different exchange2 Mar 2026 07:33
I am disappointed that we remain on this exchange for a number of reasons.
The price is suppressed. Without liquidity, price is not given ample opportunity to discover where it should sit at. We are on an exchange with very few buyers and a very high cost of purchasing shares (the spread here sits at an astronomical 46%). The minute you buy, you're showing a huge loss instantly. This inevitably leads to much less demand and a lower price.
The costs to the business of moving to AIM would be more expensive but are they as expensive as remaining here. We saw last year that with a suppressed share price we lost a huge amount of the company in exchange for some cash. Any future raises done with a suppressed share price creates considerable financial harm to existing shareholders.
Trust in the board. Given past events and that we know the company had no interest in supporting the share price before selling off a large chunk on the cheap to a friend of the CEO, continued listing here erodes trust in the motives of those running the company. I would like to see a converted effort from shareholders to force a move. Not sure if that's possible given the dilution and Opti's ability to use their leverage, but if it is feasible, it should be done.
That's my tuppence worth anyway.
Hope you all have a good day
