The problem with Instagram followers as an indicator is that you can buy them very, very cheaply.

I had the same question, either way it isn’t great. That’s the problem with complex approaches to weight loss and the appeal of simple solutions like a weekly injection or in our case, a refreshing daily drink.

That’s the way I see it going.

I am a happy customer of the injections as a kickstarter. They are very effective but as we know, there are drawbacks. The muscle loss and lethargy principle among them plus, who wants to stab themselves with chemicals for the rest of their life which is what you’re in for if you don’t find an alternative way of keeping the weight offf (and most people don’t). That’s where a once-a-day powdered drink or other product comes in. Another suggestion I’d make to partners is to look at the Protein industry. They have been incredibly innovative and I now have protein bread, protein yoghurt and delicious protein puddings in my fridge. There’s no reason Slim couldn’t find its way into a similar range of products. There’s no question the demand is there for something like this.

I liked the sound of the US product from the off, a drink once a day is very easy to manage. One of the potential difficulties of seeking Slim as something that should be consumed after every meal was that it’s hard to sell that sort of complexity in any numbers. One easily prepared and tasty drink is a much different proposition. Almost make you wonder why we didn’t try that route in the first place or earlier.

Anyway, we’re all mostly sold on our ingredients I guess which is why we’re still here, would like to see a lot more offerings of once a day products from our partners from here on in and hopefully much greater publicity.

Ha. I promise you this, in exchange for all the hard work I've read on this board over the years, I'll let you know.

The day I sell will be the day before a game-changing RNS on Sweet.

There’s nothing unexpected or dramatic here. As an investor, that’s something I, happy with.

Yes, happy to stand by the statement that as an investor I have been misled. Timescales have been mentioned and not stuck to especially regarding Sweet. On that alone I consider myself misled. As for all the other things you mentioned, I have no disagreement.

Whilst TW,, Elrico and others have mistrusted the RNS and looked for ways they've been misled that don't seem to be true, I really think this mistrust has been caused by SOH and the way he's run the company. On their level they have a relationship with him and I'm in little doubt that he's been feeding them scraps over the years that have turned out not to be true. Regardless, SOH has certainly misled us over the years and now we are at the inevitable point where trust has fallen apart. I personally don't know enough to have a strong opinion on the investors although I tend to see it as a positive but I mistrust the RNS for the reason that I think it is nowhere near enough money to set up manufacturing, storage and distribution in the US.

As a result of that, one of the other unfortunate consequences is that shareholders are at loggerheads. For me, this has been one of the best boards I've been a member of. Many posters here are well informed and generous with their views and disagreements have mostly been handled well so it's a shame to see the change in tone.

I'm really going to try and keep my focus on the man at the helm who has in my opinion been the sole cause of this. He's in last chance salon, and for many as the market is shouting loudly, he's not even there any more.

Ha. In fairness, I've never been aware of anything else he has an opinion on because this is the only stock our paths cross on to my knowledge.

I like this news. Would have to assume they had done some extensive 'Mol-level' research into Opti before investing a substantial amount. Also leads me to think the fancy Opti's chances of growth in the US although they do state that they look globally for investment opportunities.

TW really doesn't do himself any favours. As many have said, he's best avoided for advice on Opti. When he's been incredibly bullish he's been spectacularly wrong, now that he's turned a tad bearish..... here's hoping.

Agreed about the possible value of Slim. As a user of mounjaro I can certainly testify to its weight loss properties, the problems comes with the immediate weight gain when you stop using it and the extreme lethargy and muscle loss while using it. Certainly think that there is a place for products like Slim now which has actually been a change that has come about AS A RESULT of using weight loss medication. I don’t think I will be alone in looking for healthier ways of losing and staying slim.

My question was more about Opti being able to truly benefit from its holdings should Skin and PBX rise with my concern being that they will sell to pay wages of ultimately non-productive employees at Opti. I certainly concede there is a possibility of change in that department but as has been repeated ad nausea here, am very much in a mood of Ill trust it when I see it.

As a very new investor here who picked up a small amount of 5000 shares couple of weeks ago following a some research into the company I’d like to say that one of the things that impressed me, particularly with it being AIM is that the management team seem like sober, deliberate business with a good plan.

The older I get, the more important that is as an investment criteria.

Aquea, your rationale is good but let’s say it works out and those companies appreciate considerably. How much of those companies do you expect Opti to still hold and will any sales of the stock be to benefit Opti shareholders or merely to keep the lights on?

I don't subscribe to that service or any others. Am not a fan of TW and have vocally expressed that in the past.

I don't follow your point on my logic and your interpretation of its extensions.

I've been in the share when it was over £1 and under 10p. I only express my view on the faith I have in SOH and therefore I think the market has. This level of faith has of course fluctuated over time and I do hope will fluctuate again and rise. As I posted yesterday though, for me now the only thing that will see that faith rise now is audited revenue.

Lords, the reason for the drop is the complete lack of faith in SOH and his projections. The volumes today is nothing short of brutal for this stock. Trying to score points against those of us displeased at sales of equity in either Opti and/or Skin is missing the mark. Consider this, investors have lost confidence for a number of reasons and recently those reasons have included fundraising through both those options, both of which watered down shareholder value.

My focus is not on whether you or me disagree about how he fundraises but on why after so long he needs to continually raise funds without the accompanying growth in sales.

Call me cynical but I won't believe anything other than audited results from now on.

Regarding PBX, it’s a shambles. Let’s face it, the spin off was to throw us a bone through the dividend having failed to get Opti moving in the direction he had claimed he would. I’m not sure where their sales growth has come from, maybe just SEED which has been a contract SOH signed when he was there.

How much in costs could have been saved by keeping PBX in house? How much better could the value of our respective holdings be if it was listed on a liquid exchange? Why was the egregious motion allowing Steen to give away a huge portion of our company on the cheap to his mate voted for?

I wouldn’t vote for PBX to have access to more equity dilution because of how they went about it last time. It’s pretty obvious that they suppressed the share price in order to give their mate cheap shares before releasing news almost immediately that led to a share price rise. I think it should only be voted for if it is done following a move to AIm where we could reasonably expect to gain maximum value from any dilution.
