I'm starting to think that those proposed Sweet deals with global brands probably aren't going to materialise if they haven't by now and as a consequence I will look to sell half my stake here if there's a bump on sales of Slimbiotix as looks likely. I get they take a long time but two years ago they were supposed to be nearing a conclusion. As for the strict confidentiality clauses of these companies, they've literally been included on slide decks in investor presentation so that's an odd one. Yes, big companies take a long time to commit but not normally years as they want to also be quick enough to steal a march on competitors. They're slow, but they're not tectonic plates either.

One last thing TW, I don't think most holders here could accurately be described as lacking patience. That's something Opti holders, especially the majority on this board, have had in abundance having been here through multiple failed promises over years.

Problem is TW that trust in the future is low in Opti with good reason. Actual revenue will drive the share price, not potential or projected. SOH ran the stop sign on being reliable years ago.

I wonder how much stock in Skin has had to be sold in order to pay him and his son their salaries?

And the MBA thing is an absolute extraction of urine.

Those salaries are only really good value by now if Opti is in a position to pay them without devaluing the company through disposing of stock in other companies.

Not dealing with one of the biggest if not the biggest health providers in the world doesn't seem like a great business decision. I'm no fan of the NHS but it has a collosal budget and obesity is one of the major problems it faces. Would be a good market for our products.

I've never been to an AGM before for any company but if the news of Sweet going in to a big product gets released I'm at the next one if only to buy a beer for a few of you on here who have done such sterling work on this share over the years. That's assuming you go to them too.

Also, pretty sure if it's a big player this will be just us supplying the product and them doing all the sales work. Which is fantastic and exactly where I'd like to see us placed.

I stand by every word of what I said about SOH selling and if he is selling, it would clearly impact the market.

It's important to acknowledge that he hasn't got a crystal ball so can't time the market. The evidence certainly suggests that if you look at previous sales.

My point was about the overall loss of value to our company and the lack of diversification if we continue to sell. I am not concerned with spot prices of sales. Put another way, the previous approach has cost us millions in value, the error is always to continue repeating previous mistakes expecting different results.

Lords, I’m not criticising his past actions, I’m pointing out the lunacy of further watering down our holding in a company that provides much needed shareholder value.

The past is the past, it’s done. Was a great acquisition, no doubt.

If this is SOH, it's got to rank up there with the worst of his decisions. I get that we're all geniuses in hindsight but having hammered the value of our shareholding over the years only an imbecile would continue to do it

I will add though that my £32 million figure took into account the dilutions there. Agreed though, it’s not necessarily the price we would get if we dumped the stock BUT it would be the value to us for accounting purposes and WOULD have a substantial impact on our market cap as a result.

Literally any other way of funding itself would have caused less harm to the value of the company. We had 128 million shares in Skin, those would be worth £32 million today. We now have 21 million at a value of less than £6 million. Can we really say that the value we lost by disposing of our holding has been added here

Agreed, our value has been hammered by selling down our holding. If we’d have just held it and done nothing else, Opti would be worth multiples of what it is today.

That being said, I know the STBX board is convinced he’s a big daily seller there but do we have confirmation that’s the case.

That's a shame. Looks like they still have a lot to get rid off and also that there's other big sellers too who have been selling into this.

When I first invested here in about 2016/7 sometimes, there was a massive overhang that kept us pinned in the 30s. Once that was done with, the stock catapulted like a coiled spring to over £1. Granted that was a different fiscal environment and risk tolerance was very high. Wasn't expecting anywhere near the same spring this time without news but had thought a little re rate would be in order.

According to our website, as of early Feb this year, YSF hold 4,713,314 shares or 4.81%.

Many here would know better than me but I think that means that, because they're below 5%, they don't have to declare any more trades publicly. I'm not sure when the company is bound to update the information on the website though.

Would be interesting to see where that holding is at now. I checked YSF's site hoping it would detail their various holdings there but I couldn't find them.

Does anyone know if there are other ways of finding that information out?
