The discounted placing and incredible volume transfer that followed probably means that most of the shares are now in the slippy hands of traders who are likely under water. I expect a 50% premium would be a dream come true for them.

If you want evidence of the lack of interested investors then just look at the paltry number of questions submitted for the AGM. I'll wager that everyone who submitted a question saw it in that list, verbatim.

The Ox delay is extremely frustrating as it deprives us of the boost we so desperately need to claw back a bit of value ahead of the NXP002 data.

It looks, on the face of it, that they are struggling to get finance but is that really the case or are they being clever? Thanks to our CEO's recent announcement about her wonderful upcoming career opportunity, we are now in the most vulnerable of positions and may have given Oxilio the perfect opportunity to drag their feet for as long as they want.

I know they have only filed about 1m, so far but f they have yet to receive anything like the funds that would justify their 20m valuation then they could in theory table a bid for the whole lot at say 50-100% premium on current sp, before the results are known.

It's risky but it would secure the NXP001 IP (so no upfront, milestones or royalties) and if NXP002/NXP004 data is still on track then they would soon be able to flog that off and clear their debts. They have a few more weeks to watch how things go and see if our price slips any further. Meanwhile, the potential for good final data is increasing and the risk is reducing.

It would be the steal of the century for them if they could pull that off!

She might want to stick around to sign a deal off and get her bonus but not hang around for whatever handover is required after that. She therefore agreed just to work her notice.

If that was true though then I would have thought that it could have put the deal at risk.The partner might want solid leadership in place during handover. However, maybe she brought Riddell in for that reason. Perhaps he is qualified to do the handover with JH in support. Maybe that's why they don't need to search for a new CEO just yet.

It's all just speculation (or conspiracy theory as the cheerleaders like to call it).

Not sure why Ox is stalling Mars. The Q&A seemed to downplay anything other than what has been agreed previously. No hints of any scope or valuation changes.

The last comment on the subject seemed to suggest that a 'key part' of any Oxilio deal was the simple endorsement of one of our products..as if we should just be grateful for that.

Sorry if I seem flippant. I've lost so much money here (and haven't been lucky enough to be included in one of the special discounted share lotteries to recoup any of it) that I'm feeling open to discussion on these matters.

There's a lack of ownership through and through, I'd say.

At the end of the day we had to wait four days for a transcript consisting of 20 questions most of which were answered with "No comment", "Undisclosed" or "See previous RNS". No reason for such a delay as far as I can see.

Ouch! Was that a sneaky swipe at the old guard? In other words, it is not appropriate for leadership in a listed company to comment on deals before they are signed, sealed and delivered.

If so then you must have been the single 'happy' shareholder that spent an hour asking questions...according to your mates on Twitter (who never spout BS) that is.

If that was the point then I misunderstood it. I read it that you were saying that unless you had taken part in the recent placing then you had no right to say that you helped pay salaries. I don't believe that is true.

I am, of course, speaking on behalf of all fellow long term holders who did not get the opportunity to take part but continue to shoulder the risk. That includes anyone who bought any of the new shares that were immediately offloaded after the placement but continue to hold.

The recent placing seemed more like short term loan arrangement than an investment opportunity. The amount of volume that followed strongly indicates that much of those shares were immediately traded for a profit. The risk was small to those sellers and was immediately transferred to someone else as soon as the opportunity arose. Anyone who got outvat, say, 2.2p would have been well remunerated. Committed investors were not so lucky.

It is strange that they have delayed the publishing of the Q&As. Companies I have held shares in before tend to read them out then respond verbally or respond as they are asked at the AGM. The recording would then be posted as a webcast.

Seems more straightforward to me, unless there is a valid reason for the delay (which doesn't include typing it out).

Slightly disappointed with that response Soup. That's almost a textbook reply from the Whimax book of how to have and argument!

All shareholders hold a share of the assets. Shareholders who took place in previous placings (or indeed the ones who took their place if they left) are no less worthy of gratitude for paying wages than those who introduce new money via newer placings. That older money could have been used to generate the IP which , in an ideal world, the BoD should now be using to generate enough profit to be paying their own wages.

I suppose most of those stale bulls didn't have much choice but to buy in at a higher price. Probably weren't lucky enough to get offered discounted shares at 2p a pop which were subsequently sold off for a quick profit.
