On the subject of things said previously. I seem to recall some other words being said in relation to events earlier this week (i.e. the RNS):

"..in reality, it can’t be anything other than positive.."

Anyone else feeling it at the moment?

To be fair though, when we struck the deal with Oxilio, I didn't think that they had any interest in CINV.

You seem confused about what it means to be negative. It's not always negative to ask questions about why things happen and why they might or might not be related. If you always look at the pros instead of the cons then it's the cons that will catch you out eventually. I've learned that lesson the hard way.

There is no doubt that todays RNS has some pro's:

- DG knows the products
- DG hold alot of shares
- DG is a great communicator and is not media shy

He also left us at a critical time with little explanation. I think most of us felt the impact of that.

Is this role as straight forward as it seems or is there more to it than meets the eye? Is DG acting completely independently of TRx or will they ultimately be looking for a slice of any action? Who knows but its still worth thinking about .

At the end of the day I don't regard myself as negative about the company. I still really believe in the products. I'm just worried that if we continue to strike deals where our upside is capped but that of our partner(s) is not, then we as shareholders are not going to do very well out of it.

It's amazing that everyone seems to leave this company for no good reason when things are looking so positive, even the auditors are at it now!

So, if Gooding' s return means the resurrection of the 'Kissei' deal (as many seem to think here) then has the last 2 years of decline been anything other than an absolute waste of time? Could he not just have sealed the deal much earlier if he'd stuck around?

He's now a 'consultant' to Nuformix. Not the executive BDD we were looking for a few weeks ago. He's not an NED either. He is, however, a co-founder and 'executive director' of TRx Biosciences who are in partnership with Oxilio (remember the great deal we got for CINV)?

It's very altruistic for TRx to let their guy focus his attention on commercialising NXP002 for us at such a busy time for them, don't you think?

My point was that hypersonic missiles are only any good if you know exactly where the others sides missiles are based, so you can stop them firing back. That's difficult to do if they're moving independently and silently around the oceans.

I was just trying to highlight the futility of nuclear threats. It's a no-win situation for everyone involved .

He really is shaping up to be quite the pariah.

I love the pointless nuke threats. They might have hypersonic missiles but they seem to have forgotten that we have Trident. They should wake up and realise that if they launch one of those missiles, their homeland will be turned into glass too.

I don't think it will be too long now before vlad starts looking over his shoulder towards his own generals and those oligarch pals who are currently being parted from their villas, yachts and football clubs.

The regs relate to fraud prevention.

If these regs are the crux of the issue then you have to ask the question: why do they believe that the company will not be able to comply with their requirements?

They are a longstanding auditor. If it is a regulatory thing then I think all other auditors will have similar requirements in place. The question is: did HM notify the company of these changes in good time so that they could put procedures in place? If so, then why did the CEO of the time not do this?

As commented by others here, with Ukraine kicking off it might not be the ideal time for good news. I think it is fair to say that it is certainly not the time for bad news either.

I wonder if the company will clarify the situation?

I've really struggled to find reason and logic in the things that have happened over the last two years. If things were as fractious as you say then it's disconcerting to think that it may have cost us a big deal with the Japanese and resulted in NXP001 being licensed out under terms which, on the face of it, don't seem to benefit us when we need it most and offer nothing to get excited about later on.

I too thought that the Lanstead placing was an indication that things were going to change for the better soon. However, now that Oxilio have let slip that they won't be dosing their first patient until the back end of the year (instead of Q1) I'm not so sure that it wasn't just an emergency scramble for funds which they expected to be covered by the receipt of earlier milestones.

As I've said before, it's time we saw something tangible to show us that things have really changed for the better and that Brindley has actually delivered with the data.

I agree that AR buying might be his way of saying "look, I'm confident". He has taken a risk, albeit small.

Not sure the warrants mean much at this point. Yes, there is now an incentive to do well so they can buy in and make an instant profit. Whether or not they actually will is a different matter altogether. They haven't actually taken any risks, so they won't lose if it doesn't pan out. Meanwhile, it still gets guys like us to interpret it as if they've now got skin in the game.

The warrants will only count if they get exercised. Even then, will they hold onto them or just flog them into the rise for a quick buck?

We really need to see evidence of the completed data package and/or the promised recruitment. Without that we have no real proof that we are any further forward than we were last summer. We haven't seen any published documentation to prove the results are great, we haven't seen any interest from partners, we still have no idea what NXP004 is based on nor if the originator has been approached and we have no idea if there have any bites for the new roles. All we have is what we've been told.

I'm afraid that after the last 2 years performance that doesn't mean very much anymore. We need something tangible.

Another question I have in relation to that scenario is why would DG, less than 4 months after being allegedly forced out against his by Blackwell, then join forces in a partnership to make a success of the deal that Blackwell struck just after he'd gone?

Wouldn't you still be pretty sore about it all at the point? I think I would be.

Are you sure that is true Jiving? It is very interesting if it is.

How could Blackwell, an NED at the time, have the power/authority to drive out both the executive Chairman and the CEO in a matter of months?

Why would Gooding leave without a fight if a Kissei deal would fall through.

What motive would Blackwell have to oust DT & DG then resign himself shortly after taking the reigns and striking a deal for NXP001 with his old associate Yaxley.

It left the company in pretty fragile state.
