You make an assumption that we in the west are leading the world in everything, yet fail to realise that the development of good health benefits all, globally, yet your view is that we should hoard this and let the world die, even though all we gain is from 'them'.
A good can be shared, a bad, no one wants, but you seem to believe that if they want our 'good' then they must be enslaved to us and take all the crap we give them?
They have been surviving for long before we came along, and at what point do you think 'them' dying of disease will somehow bypass us? We do it to protect ourselves too, it's not a one way street, just look at covid.
So drop the coloniser imperialist view point, it helps no one. It's very naive to think that way.
You want to believe the West invented everything, yet that is simply not true, please do research, not just what someone told you to believe.
We drink recycled sewage. Those countries, and I've been to quite a few, have fresh water running all the way through their rocks, drinkable. Sure, overpopulated cities in India etc have open sewers, closed sewers are new concept in the UK within the last 100-110 years ago, otherwise it was thrown out in the streets at 6am...
I for one would be happy to share health tech with the poor nations, let them get on their feet, without holding a boot on their necks for that privilege.
More than that I just cannot be bothered, life is short and people like you are barely as significant as a dead mosquitoes wing.
