Having had the benefit of US insurance based coverage and now Swiss, the treatment when you really really need it in the UK, is good. under staffed in most areas, over staffed bloated in areas they really could do without.
I spend $1k per month on healthcare, never used it in 5 years.
Then you have a deductible (excess) before your insurance kicks in, that resets every year end.

Pure arrogance from those puppets. I said it before and I will say it again, there are some in the Tory government that will make millions when the GBP tanks totally, that was their agenda from 2016 from Brexit, but it failed, now they see that opportunity rise again, they smell blood in the water.

EC, the GBP is so low (worthless) against the USD that it makes no difference.
Much like increasing interest rates to lower inflation, yet inflationary prices will cost households less than the increase in their mortgage, car payment and credit card interest payment, they will be so much more worse off.
Interest rate rises make banks rich.
We had low interest and low inflation, both at the same time and yet we survived....

Jtan, no USD income, just CHF, which is also in a very strong position, without it being artificially overvalued (USD)...
I plan on converting some of our USD to Euros today though.

Unfortunately I still have a large cash reserve sitting in the UK, so now is not the time for me to move it out. I'll have to wait it out, as much as it pains me. The only good news is that I am getting 2.5% interest on it!!
However, I do have local currency so not bothered, also a chunk of USD.
I have family in the UK, all working class so the tanking of the GBP will effect them, even though oil is down, with the GBP down that makes no difference...
