What was your prediction again TerrorWit? How much did you say Nanoco could get in licensing? What was the outcome?

Samsung made billions off Nanoco's display IP.

If they have some IP in sensing applications with them potentially to make billions, it would place a higher value on Nanoco. I don't know how we'd ever know until a formal sale process. Also for as much as we criticise the buyback, two years of cash is plenty if they trigger the sale process now. It gives Nanoco a strong hand to manage a possible bidding war for a while.

However, it's possible nobody cares about any of the IP. Who knows?

I'm accumulating at these levels.

I try to be objective and I view today's investment as a positive endorsement. That's the most likely reason for the entry.

To counter that, I always point out that a fund manager invested a chunk in McColls before they went bust. There can be reasons for doing that, but it's generally not the case.

This will be one of those shares people look back on and say if only I bought it when it was 11p, I'd be loaded now. I've set my sell order for 30p because I consider that a realistic short-term target (within 12 months). That's being uber conservative.

I've topped up again. Shares bought for 11p will be sold for 50p. I'm so confident of that. It's a baffling bargain.

Kooba - I back this theory too. The legal team potentially operate like day traders on the stock market. Make their small percentage gain for as little risk as possible and run away. This highlights the problem of Nanoco's size because they had no means to raise capital to go this alone for any length of time, leaving them entirely at the mercy of the funder who had their own motives and strategy.

If this had been communicated by the board without the bluster before the announcement about multiples of the current market cap, it would have been completely understandable.

Terrorwit you must accept that the vast majority of shareholders were against your opinion when there was an attempt to overthrow the board, the largest shareholder sold out and the forums are full of disgruntled private investors.

As for what the advisors said, that's a valid point, but it doesn't change the fact that the company sanctioned guidance for a much higher payout and tried to frame the settlement as a success. Facts you deny because you've convinced yourself that your fabrication of events is true because you're a narcissist who can never be wrong.
