+ my conspiracy theory has to be factored in. We saw this same thing happen at almost exactly the same price before the Samsung litigation was announced. What if Apple have infringed at a greater rate than anticipated? Or as I said before someone in the Samsung supply chain. It's still possible that Nanoco could get tens of millions in a quick early settlement because now infringers can see they'll lose on appeal.

Regardless, we don't know what could happen there or indeed what the true value is, but SURELY Nanoco has to be worth tens of millions at least, by all speculative measures..... IP value, the sale of QDVision in 2016, and the operational business.

An accounting value of £46m was placed on the IP. Apple spent £20m on runcorn before pulling out. There is some value in the other business units. There is plenty of cash. Clearly the current shareprice is far too cheap UNLESS something bad is happening behind the scenes. We've seen this before of course, but based on what we know this is a buy. Good buy.

My theory is they are doing this before a new lawsuit, and that Samsung weren't the main offenders. Someone else was supplying Samsung. This would make the settlement agreed between Nanoco and Samsung more rational. Watch this space. (Disclaimer: This is a complete conspiracy theory, but it makes some sense to me).

There's no sale coming, just another round of legal action in my opinion. Lets hope it gets a settlement enabling long-term holders to exit
