Our meeting next week is therefore short notice compared to others ie, relatively last minute!

From the very outset we were told this trial was designed to be “data rich”. I therefore expect very comprehensive data.

It may not mean too much to me but it will to big players in the industry! Good luck all.

I think the vast majority of professionals act with honesty and integrity. There will always be a few bad apples.

Yes, big Pharma try to influence doctors as do patients! If the news is what we hope for , then it will spread rapidly and the most interested of all will be those who have cancer and their families.

These patients will keep up to date with events and will not be shy in their discussions with the doctors who treat them.

The 19 September RNS states” expected to allow the company to bring forward the start of the potentially pivotal Phase 2 efficacy study into 2024”.

Thorn says “ Phase 2 to start in Q4 was it following FDA approval”.

This isn’t the first time he has shown he doesn’t read RNS’s or watch presentations, or if he does he simply can’t grasp what is being said.

What a total time waster.

The team at Avacta have worked for years to develop their science. They and the specialists they work with have the knowledge and it is laughable that by a bit of Googling Eggy thinks he knows better!

If you don’t trust the company ( as you feel it is not thinking things through) then don’t invest. It’s as simple as that. You either believe or you don’t.

The doctors and clinicians dealing with patients for AVA6000 will have access to extensive patient records. Bearing in mind the individual patient they will have to establish the pros and cons of treating a particular patient for a particular cancer type.

As investors we have to consider risk v reward and so will the medical specialists dealing with this trial and any future treatments under the pre|CISION platform.

There can be numerous reasons why somebody may be unsuitable for a particular treatment or procedure.

I am happy to leave things to the professionals- who we are told are getting on with it- at pace.

I’m struggling with the acronym “gf”.

It appears it could be many things- girlfriend, gluten free, general fund etc.

What does it represent in your post please?

I imagine Conifer would have had discussions with Avacta before making a significant investment.

If my assumption is correct then why wouldn’t a group of investors holding more than 3 times as many shares have an opportunity to do the same? Companies answer questions from individual investors by open meetings and private emails, so I find it very plausible the meeting took place.

What is a “noble prize winner”?

You have mentioned it several times but I’ve never heard of it.

Todays post by Bella struck a chord with me. ARM designed microchips and they would regularly develop new chips, each faster than the previous one and using less power - crucial for prolonging battery life. Especially useful in mobile phones. Their devices were wanted by virtually everybody in the high-tech boom of the late 1990’s. Mobile phones were upgraded constantly, folks wanted the new, improved technology. Arm provided the architecture and licensed it out.

We have not one but two architectures. Pre|CISION and Affimer. Each capable of generating huge demand and creating a step-change in oncology treatments. I think soon everybody will see the huge opportunity here and want a slice of the action.

Avacta have got top people on-board and we are told things are moving “at pace”. I think they are. Daily trading volumes are well up and decent sized buying is regularly seen.

We know the trial is designed to be “data rich” and it won’t be too long before that data is released for all to see. As an investor it’s hard sitting on your hands isn’t it?!

I believe doxorubicin is usually administered in 21-28 day cycles.

As LovableLumax says, a change to 2 weekly dosing ( subject to FDA approval) would send out an incredibly powerful message about the tolerability of AVA6000.
