SeisNas. Thanks for your observation. Whereas my original investments were based on Tjate, these days it is the Zambian copper/cobalt that provides me with hope.

I did cross reference JLP bb on the GLR bb earlier. Equally when discussing the JLP northern Zambia strategy people on here should take a look at the GLR bb and Luansobe. In particular yesterdays posts from MinorMiner 8.09 am regarding a UAE investor. It does all come together nicely.
(I hold both companies but regard Colin's separate companies as a singular in such instances).

People could do worse than look at some of the posts on the JLP bb yesterday. Then cross reference with the above. Look at the satellite image of the area and you can see how Luansobe fits into all of this. To me it looks like Colin is putting together a nice little package.

Now it is going to be about the "transition" which the FI fits the bill. There is no point supermajors looking at places like the Arctic which are too long term. US shale started slowly but once it got going the big players all moved in. Navitas know what they are doing and won't mess around.

Once FID is agreed I would think the company will be taken over. I remember growing up and the BBC News would start with the takeover of I think it was Brit Oil. From memory bidding started at 100p and ended up at something like 800p by BP. Russia has changed everything. Even the Labour Party is reexamining their net zero policy. Allowing a 16 year school girl to run our energy policy and effectively our industrial and security policy has been a disaster.

My buy was below the midprice

I did my bit for the cause this morning. With the cash in the bank, the Glenover cash coming, the zinc and all the big copper projects, it seems a no brainer. Unfortunately a poor market to breakout but the assets will take care of themselves.

It is long but listening again was interesting. Ignoring the timelines which we have discussed many times, Colin feels the copper price won't go below $7500 and the copper market will pick up in 2024 (was already high at the time of this podcast in Feb 2022). Given the recent drop in copper prices during the summer I do wonder whether they are playing for time.
I also noted later on in the video that Colin isn't that fussed by gold. That might explain what appears to me as a lack of interest in Manica. Personally I feel that is a mistake in the current market but his decision.
