The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
So citm, who else other than the directors do you suggest should be held accountable for the poor share price performance.
Tyb will you please give it a rest with the same old '0.35 to 1.5 blah blah blah'
You bought in at 0.45 and have contunued to advertise your purchases at higher prices since then so unless you have been stealth trading you are well down.
9th Feb ' should have done your diligence and figures properly like I did buying at 0.45'
2nd Jan 'I bought first in 2019 at 0.45'.
2nd Jan' my first entry was 0.45p'
The one who has actually lost money for folk is you.
30 dec 'I also dont see the price any lower than what it is now so any new investor will be getting a bargain' The price that day was 0.8p
What an investing guru you are.
The contact name for stateside is georges sztyk of new world oil and gas fame.
worried already.
please can we have recent production figures net to zen.
Large spread reflects the uncertainty over bey next move.
There is a disconnect between bey and logp valuation.
How can logp be 1/10 the value of BEY when they own 20% and seem to have a better chance of success in court? tighter spread than BEY.
This is ryans vision.
Fill the area with offshore wind power generation and use what is left of kinsale head facilities for carbon capture.
https://www.rpsgroup.com/projects/pre-feed-study-on-carbon-capture-and-storage-ccs-in-support-of-ireland-s-climate-action-plan/.
RPS have been acquired by tetra tech and sure this work is still ongoing. Note the short timescale for production of pre feed....exactly the same period as BEY were waiting for approval by DECC.
Hope ryan realises that moving forward he is not going to be able to even mention environmental concerns in any discussion about barryroe.
The ONLY topic is financing because that is his only stated objection.
He will not be able to do it. He is incapable of holding a conversation without bleating on about wind farms.
Logp will not get to court. This wull be overturned by judicial review
Yes....and 1 idiot
Even if they do a deal, their track record of actually converting that into increased production is very poor.
IMO The main investors in LOGP would be looking for a minimum of repayment of loans + 7p a share
The bloke is going to compound the problem when he attempts to block necessary O&G development by auctioning offshore wind developments in the same area.
He is blinkered and dangerous.
He is like an irresponsible father leaving a paid job to train for a new career that better suits his long term goals but then watching his children starve in the interim.
The way the transition to a green economy is being mis managed will go down as one of the biggest debacles in history.
For the good of their reputations they need to hang him out to dry. They do not want to be associated with this waste of taxpayers money by giving it even tacit approval.
He also tries to support his stance by highlighting that there is only 'potential ' at barryroe.
This isnt purely exploration or wildcat drilling.
They know its there. It flowed and at a better rate than anticipated. Its all recorded and independently assessed.
Its an irrelevant argument anyway. He has got nothing to support his stance other than a hatred for the oil and gas industry.... and that will actually go against him in court because it will support the accusation of unfair treatment.
He is completely snookered.
If LOGP get to the point of facing this lunatic in court they are going to receive a ridiculous award. Their current mcap is less than £2m!
I think it will be overturned by a judicial review before that though.
The guy is finished. He will be unable to demonstrate that he has acted in a fair and equitable way. The bias will be clearly evident and he will be forced to either back down or resign. The protracted assessment combined with ridiculous timescales placed on the barryroe partners in late 22 will be judged as a deliberate attempt to undermine the development in support of a green agenda. Every time the guy opens his mouth he is digging his own grave. Using phrases like 'the world cannot afford ' developments like barryroe and then immediately discussing his preference for offshore wind developments after first claiming that the decision was not politically motivated....Its laughable. In court it will not matter what he thinks about oil or whether he considers the development dangeeous for the future of the planet. All that will be considered is whether he has acted in a fair and equitable way in allowing the barryroe partners to progress a licenced development over which they had legitimate claim. He will be annihilated in court or in a judicial review.
Lets hope ryan can demonstrate a fair and equitable stance for all offshore developments because when he is standing there in his jockeys after having everything he owns taken away from him by LG's legal team for abuse of ministerial authority he may regret it. Giving him a' no more oil placard' and letting him wander off into the political desert in his undies .
Yeh you are right, doesnt need the knockers to tank.
The share price performance has not been what anyone had hoped for or expected. Previous postings from certain contributors stating their expectations within certain tinescales and details of their supposed purchases can be referenced if needs be.
Given the poor price performance I would find it more believable that someone who expressed dissatisfaction was actually holding than someone who continued to be uber positive.
Is it possible to target ryan personally for abuse of ministerial authority as well as claim compensation for the licence?
IMO first step would be to advise the minister a time limit for the decision.
TYB,
AC is a salesman.
He advertises the positives and is very reluctant to communicate the negative. The obligation of the company is to release price sensitive info regardless.
I do not understand the stance of 'if you are not happy then sell' . That lets directors off the hook.
