The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Will they hit a deadline or target in my lifetime.
I cant find any rns on 10th jan that announces that the company have 'won' the seme project in Benin. As a result I didnt read anything beyond that first sentence in your post as it was obviously BS.
will they hit a deadline in my lifetime?
MGS,
So are you saying that it is correct to avoid overstating the value of benin because all we have is a period during which to complete due diligence and agree whether to proceed
and that benin not proceeding could be seen as a managerial success ????
Just for the benefit of those who advertise their share purchases and talk up the potential of ZEN and ridicule anyone that dares to question them.
Also, with regard to italian revenue.
Lets assume I am traveling at 100 mph for 1 hour but I then reduce my speed to 20mph. Is it correct to state that I am NOW traveling at 100mph?
Obviously not! but that is exactly what you are doing with your statements about the italian revenue!! You are creating positive spin by stating revenues achieved through a period of heightened '100 mph' gas prices. That is not the current situation.
MSG ...when you say that the italian assets NOW generate €3.5 million per annum do you mean that they DID over the past 12 months during which time the gas prices have been at all time highs or are you using the much lower monthly figures that have been released over the past few days.
MG posts all the positives and its all relevant but then also acknowledges there are cons. None of them ever seem to be mentioned or recognised. Whether the bulls want to accept it or not ZEN's track record developing assets is not great. The effort potentially required to get something that last produced in 98 back on line should not be underestimated.
Until ZEN prove they are as good on the ground as they are at the negotiating table then there are always going to be doubters.
There is no denying that turning all the potential into revenue generating assets would be transformational for the company but could someone give me examples where drilling and workover activities organised by zen have resulted in increased production.
Comparing yemen to ww1 is ridiculous but if you want to use your 'small strip of land ' analogy, the conflict has historically placed an embargo on oil exports so zen activities would be placed ground zero. Country risk should factor very highly in any valuation for yemen.
...however not as potentially dangerous as someone who tells you to 'mark their words', makes predictions on price movements by specific dates which do not come to fruition, tells potential new investors joining this forum that they are very rarely wrong( which has been shown to be a ludicrously incorrect statement ) and berates, ridicules and undermines any opinions different to their own.
....if its negative. If it's positive any old source will do.
I dont think you have read my post correctly. I am saying that if there is an announcement saying talapia is no more, the gurus will state that they already knew, have already factored it in and anyone that hasnt is an idiot.
I hope everyone realises that if tilapia(and its still if) falls by the wayside then the resident gurus will say that the other prospects are more important, that they had discounted tilapia months ago and that anyone who was invested based on tilapia, after all this time, is an idiot......much the same as they say about anyone who invested back in the azer days.
Keep advertising your buys and hiding your sells big timers.
A Salesman only wants to advertise the positive.
IMO AC is a very accomplished salesman and deal maker.
Any news that will have a positive effect on the shareprice will be released, even if the effect will be minimal.
The same will not be true for negative news. Thats not unusual.
ZEN are main market but the attitude toward news releases tends toward those of AIM companies which are prone to oversell and under deliver.
Hence my unpopular stance to focus on delivery and not potential.
AIM companies sell potential. Mid CAP main market companies deliver.
Hilarious Clouseau!
Was Highlander killed in a rit of fealous jage?
no.....ronald
ha ha. I forgot disagreeing with TYB and prickly, the investing gods, was a sin.
Its so ironic that you criticise posters for being unpleasant when your total approach to this forum is to undermine and ridicule and besmirch anyone that dares to disagree with your ramping agenda. But it isnt half as ironic as me making more money out of my investments in this company than either of you. It gives me a warm feeling at night. fools. Nothing you say to me matters. Your Talking up of ZEN is pointless. BOPD is all that matters, AC performance matters. You dont matter. Keep on advertising your buys big timers.
I own more shares than you know fool....one day you will be shown the truth but that time is not now.
Is that the sum total of your research to support your statement of fact that TYB has 10m shares? Words that TYB has posted on a BB? Deary me. What does that say about all of your other statements of fact? You are right btw. I dont matter. Neither do you. Your blinkered, pro zen bigotry means diddly to the success of ZEN you narcissistic, irrelevant buffoon. Why dont we play a game. You post things I have said and i will post things AC has said that hasnt happened. Unlike you, he is relevant.
TYB says he holds 10m shares. Do you actually believe everything you read on a BB? What a fool.
