As far as I am aware, SFX-01 is the only stabilised sulforaphane suitable for clinical research and eventual approval as a medicine.

This latest Phase 1 news should not be taken lightly.

It doesnt have to be a 'cure'.

Improving quality of life by alleviating symptoms or enhancing the effectiveness of existing treatments would make SFX01 extremely valuable.

The use of sulforaphane to help alleviate the symptoms of autism has already been trialled. Do you have google?

Why do you think stalicla selected it as the most suitable candidate for STP2? Do you think they have just decided to 'give it a go' ?

I dont think he was referring to unexpected compartmentalisation that Steve Remp (RIP) discovered with ramco on seven heads.

The appraisal drilling would have helped assess that risk.

How do you know its compartmentalised?

Sulforaphane is a naturally occurring compound so a lot of the safety risk is removed.

SFX01 is just a stabilised form of sulforaphane.

One of the underlying conditions associated with ASD is oxidative stress.

Sulforaphane helps with this.

Stalicla have studied the biology and are developing STP 2( their name for SFX01) specifically to help those for whom oxidative stress is an underlying factor in ASD.

IMO this is a winner but time will tell.

So it isnt 1 in 99 then.

What are the odds from phase II onwards?

The phase I risk needs removing from the overall for the ASD trial.

Having said that, king alf has a better chance of being able to say 'I told you all it would not work' than evgen/ stailcla have of succeeding. IMO its slightly better than a dice roll ATM from start of phase II to full approval.

However, this is going to be a test of stalicla' s targetted selection method. Pfizer have dramatically improved their POS in phase II over the competiton in recent years. Stalicla are hoping their selection method will improve POS even more.

My hope is that with the multiple uses being in the evgen pipeline (that reduces overall risk) and the oodles of cash available to big pharma at the mo for M&A , that evgen get acquired by someone willing to take on the risk.

The more options we can get into Phase II ASAP the better.

The best response would be to give us supporting evidence for the 1 in 99 stat.

If it is found to be nothing more than unsubstantiated nonsense then it does tend to undermine everything king alf has said or will ever say.

So CJ39 , what you are saying is that unless EVGEN develop their pipeline sufficiently to attract more 3rd party interest for sfx-01, like they have with stalicla, then the company is on the ropes.

Your assessment is valid but only if absolutely nothing of note happens in either the company pipeline or with its research partners over the next 6 months.

The recent in vivo results show the potential here.

My understanding is cash runway is already to q4 24.

expected 5.5m takes it into 25.

So I assume they are dropping sulphoraphane completely and not using an alternative to sulphoradex. ???.

Plus confused as to why they say q4 2023????

Maybe it relates to how juvenescence plan to market sulphoraphane. Maybe a potential IP issue here.
