I agree that its a 'skirmish' and its not local to orom cross but I am wary of how quickly the stability can change in africa. This is a world class development. On the one hand thats good because offtake and funding routes are easier . On the other hand it's worth fighting over. Do you appreciate how involved the chinese are in south sudan and uganda? Do you think they are just going to surrender their monopoly on graphite production? This is a ridiculous opportunity and we should all feel very lucky to be part of the story but imo I would like to offload this to the highest bidder after DFS. The political ramifications of this development going ahead and supplying the west with the planets best quality graphite are large .

Investors had funded the company based on legitimate expectations. This is a discovery after all. Its not a wild cat drill. The minister totally undermined the companies ability to fund the next phase.

Its a no brainer, we will win . We know it. They know it. They have probably already written their speeches portaying the oil and gas industry as enemies of the state.

However, in the real world, the majority of the energy needs of the country are met by fossil fuels and will continue to be for many many years.

Do they actually realise that their main role in a public company is to increase returns for shareholders. The pharma is just a means to that end. Huw gets so wrapped up in the science he forgets his main function. His performance is dire, as is the cfo's. And if the new chair tries to wriggle out of blame he was announced BEFORE the recent decimation of shareholder value and Huw went public with a statement that the new chair had already provided input. In terms of reduction in shareprice per 'minute in post' he is the worst of a sorry bunch. Maybe his input was to propose decimatation of the shareprice before he took his first years fee in shares, delayed to april obviously. I have no doubt they will all attempt to blame the state of the market or other factors but their record is abysmal. Investor presentation???? I do not know how they have the gall.

Was Ireland, mentioned in the recent RNS? Being estsblished as a producer gives credibility to the irish plans. I think there is going to be movement on ireland soon.

What an abject failure of a CEO at TCF in my opinion.

The loss of the juvenescence deal, the failure to either satisfy the requirements for stalicla or resolve the payment dispute (or both), the total decimation of shareholder value by dilution on a scale that beggars belief and virtually nil tangible progress with the TCF pipeline in 4.5 years. Just excuse after excuse. Imo a complete and utter failure of a CEO whose actions call onto question, not just his ability, but also his motive and character.

Rose tinted view.....stalicla back down in whatever negotiation is taking place and pay the ask for SFX-01, the conditional raise is cancelled and the firm placing covers everyone for their trouble.

The presentation gives little more than a passing acknowledgement of the stalicla deal.

The dilution and discount associated with this raise is verging on criminal. However , it does give a clear message to stalicla that TCF do not need their money to survive.

If we only knew what the issue was. The truth is that delays in stalicla payments for completing phase 1 and FDA approval has resulted in this raise (although the bulk of it is conditional and not over the line yet. ) Yet despite the massive impact the company are not giving the shareholders information other than they are in 'constructive' talks and are diluting them to ****.

Unfortunately, filtering information that does not align with our existing perspective or that questions the validity of our reasoning is one of the reasons the world is in such a state. It is also why many folk lose money. We all need to fight confirmation bias. My experience is that posters who post incessantly on one board and are arrogant, condescending, uber positive about the company, label anyone thst is negative as a 'troll' and encourage others to filter opposing views to their own are not to be trusted.

Statistics shows these folk are proved wrong more often than they are proved right. If you want to live in a subjective make believe world that is designed to align with your own perspective then filter away but I prefer reality. Be wary of their many words. Prov 10:19.
