bonum, I did not use any expletives unlike Fatal. Don't know what has happened to the old boy as I have never met him. I laughed at the first part of his post but the second bit was over the top and I think he needs to seek help so to save him further embarrassment I reported him.

When it comes to mobilising a rig ready for drilling many factors determine the mobilisation date. I can only speak about Jackups and the rig we will use as I understand it will either be a semi or a floater. I have attended many pre-drill and mobilisation meetings and just about all are different. This planning will be between driller and producer and not shareholders until the company are ready to let you know or you might get lucky if you call the office.

bonum, a succession of majors have been in and out of the information room or whatever they used to call it over the years including the 3D info. and none have taken the bait. IMO they are not prepared to take the risk but if we drill a gusher on the first shot I would see a take over coming.
