sorry my link not working....here is what it said: Govt. has started processing mining licences after halting issuance, following regulatory changes. Mining Act 2010 whose regulations were promulgated last year requires all mining licences to be issued by the Mining Commission. Recently appointed Mining Commissioner working on it. (Let's hope the oil and gas legislative equivalent Commissioner is now getting busy also)
